Thick skin is good... much gets lost in translation here... I'm glad that your rehab is going well man... that's great to hear. Hopefully both you and the dr.s will continue to be pleasantly surprised.

Dear MaxHe had told us that "I was told would never be able to support myself don't you just love proving Drs Wrong" as I see it they try to make him as thought he had lost his only hope to be seated by the "L" position which means that for many of us is much better than being confined to a bed for example. Ben was told he'd never support himself, correct. That is something different than being called a loser. How has Ben proved he is not a loser? Why would he be a loser if he wasn't able to support himself? It isn't even clear what that means, maybe he was told he wouldn't be able to support himself in a manual wheelchair. Life in an electric wheelchair is fine too and not even close to being a loser. Sorry Fabear, maybe something has been lost in translation but I don't get the loser-comment. Max What I was trying to say is that on contrary of what Drs were saying Ben can`t support himself in a wheelchair for this reason and only for this reason he could prove not only for them but to erverybody that he is able to do what acctually they thought he wouldn`t be. what makes the whole medical community think over and over before saying something that can probrably chance his life forever . What happens in many cases is that Docs end up make him feel bad (as a loser) if they don`t know how to say something in politely way.Do you know what I mean? but luckly Ben, should have feeling so thankful for bouncing back

It's not going to get any clearer, no matter how much explaining we do. Also: please try to quote messages properly. It's difficult to see what the original message is and what is your reply.

Nice chair. I'm a c5 6 incomplete just over 3 years and made some great gains in core strength etc. Never stop working at it. Go for all you can get!!
