Pro boards will not allow posting images only suitable for adults on this site. Anyone who posts a drawing or photo meant for adults only will receive a warning. And the image will be deleted.

What about all the sketches and photos that have been posted recently?

Prolly why we're getting the message now. Will you have to warn people even though we weren't aware of this rule?

I'm telling you all.. there is always tumblr. Start your own tumblers and you can post there.. and refer us to there when you finish a sketch or decide to post a new photo up.

It really is. Seems a bit extreme for it to apply to drawings. They're so beautiful!
I'm gutted we won't be seeing anymore. Please let us know if you find another way to share them?

The dictionary definition of pornography-
1. Sexually explicit writing, images, video, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal. 2. Lurid or sensational material.
Pretty much everything that goes on inside my head then!!

I would value some clarification on what constitutes a pornographic image though, as I was unsure whther to delete the last drawing I posted or not. There's nothing intimate showing, but the couple are in an embrace. Help?!! Sorry, this is Proboard's policy, not ours, and they are frustratingly vague on what they consider inappropriate material. You can see their terms of service and community guidelines here: Terms of Service: www.proboards.com/tosCommunity Guidelines: www.proboards.com/community_guidelines Specifically, they say you are prohibited from posting anything that: "Is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy or pornographic" Obviously, personal opinions of what is pornographic may vary, but that's the guideline we have to follow. They also say, "Keep in mind that the Guidelines are intended as guidelines, and not as an exhaustive list of content that ProBoards finds inappropriate. ProBoards reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any content for any reason." So essentially it's whatever they decide is objectionable. This may seem arbitrary, but they are not kidding around about this. They will delete the entire board without further warning if they think we have not complied, so please do not repost images the mods have deleted, and please be careful about what you post in the future. I have updated the photos posting policy in the sticky at the top of each page. Warnings will only be given out from now on about this, not retroactively.

I suggest you enlist the help of somebody on the board to make a tumblr site. I think it would be fine for us to provide a link to your site once it is made. We just can't host the images on the board. I think it would probably be nicer for you to have them all in one place anyway.

Take it from an expert, those images are NOT porn...

I suspect the reason it's coming up now is that there's just so much of it going on. I've been here for 7 years (whoah! 7 years!) and I've never seen this much male nudity, and the art, going up so often and fairly regularly.
I bet pro-boards has some sort of narc-bot that's out looking for certain words, acronyms.

As another active Tumblr user this is a good solution in my mind. Though one other option would be to create a group Tumblr since it's possible to have more than one mod (assuming anyone wants to step up, that is). And there's a password protection feature if privacy/ownership of your images is a concern.

Why not create a Deviantart (if the artists here don't already have one) and share the links with us? Deviantart has some good preferences you can twitch and tweak for copyrights and stuff like that.
