"Angel Eyes" by New Years Day. There's a lyric in the chorus that Chris Motionless sings "more than paralyzed, oh it's the chase you like." The whole songs is kinda devvy to me, on a possessive level, of course that's what it's about.

Forever Mine is my dev jam!!
Forever mine All because you're my kind I got what you want, you got what I want And we were made for each other
Forever mine And I'm so glad 'Cause it gets better with time I like what you like, you like what I like And we were made for each other
Oh, baby you are that someone I've been hopin' I've been lookin' for all my days Don't you ever think about leavin' This heart of mine would be grievin' Don't go... stay... stay forever mine Aw, we're one of a kind I need what you need, you need what I need And we were made for each other

Not a song but a music video, does that still count? Lady Gaga's music video for 'Paparazzi' was very devvy for me when I was younger! as a kid/young teenager it definately caught my eye and gave me devvy feelings. I still find it kind of devvy!

These lyrics always remind me of that feeling of coming more fully to life when figuring out the connection between my dev feelings and my sexuality. Can you relate?

What classifies as dev music exactly? Is it if it brings those feelings to the surface? Or can it be music by disabled artists? Or a bit of both?

Our devness is such a complex experience and music taps into it in all kinds of ways. Oftentimes for me it’s hearing the lyrics and interpreting them through my dev lens.

So, I need to dig a little and find my other devy songs but this one came to mind, which has a devy video, too...one of my favorite songs by Disturbed

Wow, I wasn't even aware that this cool thread existed on the general board; I like it!
I don't know why I always felt that this song by Three Days Grace seemed to have some kind of dev-pwd relationship vibe to it, when I first joined this board.
I feel that the following lyrics do appear to indicate that, imho:
It's okay, okay They won't understand us anyway, no You and I are on a different wave So, doesn't even matter what they say (No)
'Cause everyone's living in black and white But we see each other in a different light
Infra-red I know that you're burning out for me Fire in your bloodstream Moving through you at light-speed I see you, I see you
In Infra-red The heat and the light and the way you move Like nobody else is in the room I see you, I see you
Everyone's living in black and white We see each other in a different light
That's why I look at you like I do Like nobody else is even in the room (We see each other in a different light)
Infra-red I know that you're burning out for me Fire in your bloodstream Moving through you at light-speed I see you, I see you

This popped up on my playlist today and made me think of dev/PWD new relationship energy lol (from the perspective of a dev, especially when first exploring)

This one always had devy vibes to me. He sings in allegory about being a heavy, wounded bird being carried away by a much lighter bird away from the troubles and strife in the world. He sings about how he's too heavy a load for her, but she still carries on.
