Wow, those are pretty deep. Scars are fascinating due to their uniqueness from person to person. Almost like a snowflake, albeit more painful. Might as well join the Scar Party

Running away from someone or something? Running THROUGH a Spartan course. Actually army crawling, to be more accurate However, I think we're in danger of hijacking yet another thread, braced4impact. My apologies to the OP!!

My second scar is due to near fatal stomach problems (GORD, more specifically). Whilst a very young and terminally ill child, I had to undergo a surgical procedure known as Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication where the stomach is wrapped around the esophagus. As a result of this, I cannot vomit or gain weight and have to eat tiny portions.

I had some bladder surgery a couple years ago and they gut me like a fish! I'll try to get a pic eventually. The one on my neck from my spinal fusion is barely even visible but the one where the took the piece of hip bone for it is clear as day. I have so many minor ones, too. I'm so glad they fade quickly.

Nice thread. Like strawberrybubblegum I'm a sucker for scars, of many types. Small or faint scars aren't very exciting to me anymore. Severe scarring is very devvy to me. There's a limit to the severity that I still find devvy, but that limit has become less restrictive over time. It also depends on the location of the scars. A facial scar doesn't have to be as deep or big as one on someone's arms as it is more prominent anyway.
