*SIGH* Yesterday I saw a super hot and sexy guy while I was waiting for my train. Maybe southern european, Italian? Well he was tanned and had perfect hair... and skinny legs He was using an electric wheelchair. I saw him get out of the elevator, then he circled around the platform twice and disappeared. I know that he got on the same train as me, but I'll probably never see him again... Otherwise I haven't spotted anyone the last few weeks -friends don't count right?

Me too. We have a new wheeler at my uni and I see him often. But I actually find him really unattractive, plus he's gay and apparently a d*ck.

I was at an exhibition for wheelchairs and other assistive devices recently, so there were lots of wheelers, but that doesn't count. My all time favourite spottings include a good-looking para making out with a girl on his lap, a good-looking para with a sexy scar on his arm, an attractive female quad on her hand bike and a quad with his wife and cute young kid.

i wanna live where you girls do Ugh. Me too. I feel like the European devs get all the good stuff. Public transport that works, hot wheeler spottings... *sigh*. The grass is always greener on the other side, eh? ETA: I'm actually not sure where you live, @harmonniousvison. But I know Ath lives in in Europe!

Oh, we're talking about favorite spotting a now?! Teehee! Exciting! I once saw a cute, young para at a fair. He was eating a hot dog and half way through it, he decided to wheel somewhere else, so he put it on his lap and wheeled away. It was a tiny bit uphill, so I could see his arms were really working hard. And he was wearing sandals... Sigh! It was awesome! And it was great cause I think that was actually the first young and attractive para I ever saw out in the wild. At least as far as I can remember and definitely after my realizing that I'm a dev. I looked at him with a dev look on my face, I'm pretty sure. Then I walked past him and went to sit back next to my boyfriend who was waiting for me to get the drinks. Of course I told him of my sighting and my excitement, I couldn't keep it together. But he's cool with it. In fact, everytime he sees a para or quad he tells me to look. And then, one time when we were just getting back to his place we saw a para or low quad (I am ashamed to admit that I don't know cause I didn't look at his hands) getting ready to handbike. He was the most handsome wheeler I've seen in my entire life. Gosh, those big blue eyes! Seriously! Sigh! When we were passed him, the bf started teasing me, knowing exactly I had found him attractive.

That's a toughy, partly because spottings come in waves, either feast or famine, and partly because how hot a guy looks often depends on where I'm at with dev highs and lows.
Off the top of my head the best would be my dream man, Team GB paralympic rower Tom Aggar, wearing black-tie at a charity bash in London. Hot wasn't the word. I've also seen him at Heathrow Airport wearing shorts. I don't think he saw my tongue hanging out!

Saw a low quad at the doctors office yesterday. Is it bad that I didn't notice him at first, but my fiancé did and nudged me?? Either way, objectively he was attractive, but not my type. Too mainstream for my liking, in his pastel Abercrombie polo.

I've seen more wheelers recently, but all low paras. I'm into unicorns, so I don't get too excited, its just that first reaction "a wheeler!"...but then I'm not interested anymore. Haha

My city has terrible public transit and even worse snow removal services so no wheeler sightings for me

I haven't seen anything worthwhile lately, guys in wheelchairs but nothing that interests me...even my long weekend in Victoria which is a bustling tourist city I didn't see anything good...I was kind of bummed about that...
I will never forget the guy in front of me at a Wal Mart cash register a few years back, it was probably my most intensive sighting I ever had and I seriously almost freaked out...
At the register in front of me, perfect chair (it was a Quickie), blue frame, single foot rest, nice short dark hair, tanned arms, blue T-Shirt, walked behind him, got our receipts checked at the door (he had like two items on his lap). I could have touched his chair, that close...
Walked out to the parking lot with him in plain sight in front of me, we both parked kind of away from the building, he is parked in front of me across the lot. I sit in my car, I felt my heart beat into my neck, my hands got sweaty and everything else. I held on to my steering wheel like I would get blown away, I had him in perfect sight
He had this pick up truck with a camper on it, 4 wheel drive Chevy, golden/bronze color and then the amazing thing happens and he gets out of the wheelchair, holds on to his truck, opened the camper, stashes his chair inside and then holding on to the side of his truck he makes his way on wobbly legs and all to the driver's side...I am picturing it perfectly. I think I almost came watching all of that...:-) Of course I was thinking like crazy what his disability was...could have been low para incomplete, maybe MS, maybe Cerebral Palsy...
I followed him out of the parking lot and he turns into a parking lot by a Sports/Outdoor store and I was almost going to pull into that same parking lot... That sighting stayed with me for weeks...he was just awesome
And then another one almost as perfect at my work place and he tortured me for a few weeks every time I went on lunch in the cafeteria he was there too. I actually knew when he took his break and I went up the same time...then one day he just disappeared again out of my life. A little bit longer I would have maybe finally had the courage to talk to him, but he was always with other people. I think it was some externship or something, maybe residents of some sort Oh well...sigh....not meant to be...gone with the wind..

Luckily London is a big city so I do see a good share of PWDs rolling or strolling around, but it's always a matter of a few seconds! There's a guy I spotted quite a few times around the train station, RBK amp but uses a wheelchair... I suspect he goes regularly to the nearby medical centre because I just found out they do prosthetic fitting in there (I can't believe I ignored this VITAL piece of information for so long! Need to get checked by the doctor more often now). But he's always in a hurry and anyway I'm too shy to ever start a casual conversation with a stranger. Also, close to where I work I've seen multiple times this really cute DAE amp, I think he works for a local company. Still, all I can do is steal a long look and try not to get caught because I don't want to be creepy...
