I don't have a Goodreads profile but I have been searching the lists there a lot in the past few weeks. Sorry blueskye101 I can't find your list either under that name. But here are a ton of other lists: www.goodreads.com/list/tag/blindIn particular I have been looking for books in other genres besides romance. I am so sick of crappy romance novels. As someone else pointed out, the blind hero romances are always the same: alpha male type is blinded in an accident, acts like a huge asshole, woman (or sometimes man) comes along and he is either magically cured or she teaches him how to cope, the end. Bleah. Anyway I'm a huge fan of historical fiction set in the British navy during the Napoleonic Wars, like the Master and Commander series by Patrick O'Brian. I was so excited to find a series in that genre, but with M-M themes and a blind character. The series is called Pirates of the Narrow Seas by M. Kei. The main characters are all gay or bi, although it's treated very realistically for the era. It's action not romance but the relationships between the characters get a lot of attention, and the historical detail is terrific. I started with Book 3 Iron Men, because I thought it would have the most devvy scenes. Alan Abby is a lieutenant who is blinded in action by a blow to the head. He's very much a secondary character but the few scenes he is in are quite memorable, and they find a way to keep him on board even though he is furloughed after his injury. I love that he doesn't brood or feel sorry for himself. Actually he's kind of a twink in a naval uniform, so cute! This genre is not for everyone but I love this series so much I'm going to go back now and read the whole thing from the beginning.

Sorry late to the game blueskye101 but this is the link. I'm in there, but it's been pretty quiet lately. We need to get some more threads going!

Thanks for the link! I had a stage of finding loads of new stuff (none of it amazing but filled a hole 😉) but I’m back to feeling like I’ve read everything out there again 😞
