Oh, I hear about it every election cycle when the social democrats, who have reigned in the city since World War 2, use it as an answer to absolutely everything A city experiencing extended prosperity under rule of a party with a stated goal of "overcoming capitalism," interesting! It's not all that interesting, since cities generally tend to be liberal/left-leaning and the city doesn't exist in a vacuum. I assume you find it less interesting that when you look at my country as a whole, the most prosperous states are those who tend to have more conservative leaning governments. Or that the most prosperous and "liveable" districts in the city have conservative district governments. While "overcoming capitalism" may be their stated goal, they haven't actually been able to do that. I doubt you'll find too many cities on that list where free market capitalism has actually been overcome. But I'll be the first to tell you that having a bit of social welfare with your free market capitalism can yield excellent results. And no doubt some of the social democrats' policies have contributed to the livability here. Edit: If you compare the index of economic freedom (https://www.heritage.org/index/ranking) with the different lists of the most livable cities (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_livable_cities), you'll find that almost all of them are in countries with high economic freedom and some of the countries with the highest economic freedom are noticably over-represented in the livable cities lists. Overcoming capitalism doesn't seem to be the key.

Overcoming capitalism doesn't seem to be the key. I pointed out the slogan because it's amusing, and because we've seen folks descend into hysterics for less. Folks in my country desperately needs to decouple the kneejerk reaction of hearing something critical of capitalism, or praising social welfare, and thinking we're one tax away from becoming a Soviet hellscape. But for now, our conservatives are Madison Cawthorn and a bunch of losers who tried to storm the capitol and ended up beating a cop to death with a flag pole. So long as we see "overthrowing capitalism" as putting ethical concerns over the pursuit of profit, it's a perfectly reasonable and valid ideology. The most livable cities are in prosperous nations with universal healthcare and well developed education and infrastructure, and low corruption. Prosperity is important. So is security. People who have their basic needs well met are able to spend more time on productivity and leisure, which in turn leads to being in a better economic position, which is going to enable higher economic freedom. It's the result of investing in your people, and it makes sense.
