Well the friend of mine that got me into doing photography is an excellent photographer. He was, and most of the time still is, my inspiration for all of my photography. Plus, I've always had a good eye for art even if I haven't had the ability to do any physical arts like painting or drawing. So photography just kinda falls into my skillset naturally, and I had a good mentor.

Also, cool dude. Astoria is fucking beautiful and some of the best pictures I've ever taken were when I visited Astoria with my mom. Most of them are in the album. I really like the picture I took of those dudes running around in that tall grass. The way the lens flare in that one washed out the photo is really appealing to me.

I'm working on getting into knifemaking soon, so sometime within the next month or two, I'll post some pictures of knives I've made or are working on.

Yeah that's fine.  I didn't intend it to be my own thread.  Love to see other people's work.  I'm thinking I like the idea of doing hyperrealism one day.

Beautiful light work. I also shoot a lot of portraits so when people ask if they can see my work, I'm always at a loss and send a few pictures of landscapes and animals.

Thanks dude! I'm a total amateur that only does it for fun and have sort of accidentally taken a 2 year break from photography, but I'm trying to get back into it.
