Figured since we have a what are you listening to... and other fandom threads... just want to know what people are watching in general. Just watched Edge of Tomorrow... FUCKING LOVED IT! So damn unique and original... and let me say.. it's every soldier's wet dream to be able to train to the point of dying only to respawn until you become the ultimate super soldier and kick ultimate ass. It had a love story without being hoakie about it. AND Emily Blunt is hot... even more so as a rotor blade wielding bad ass alien slaying hottie. Gotta hand it to the Japanese though... This movie was based on one of their novels... I didn't know that before watching it.. just had a feeling since I know that there are many hollywood works that are inspired else straight ripped off from Japanese anime, novels, and manga. There is something haunting, monotonous about how they presented it... yet without ever being boring.... and it had interjections of some dark but hilarious humor throughout. It screamed foreign... too much nuance for the average hollywood action sci-fi. Thoughts Celaena hartmannwrites? SO.. now I post that questions to all of you.. what movie or series did you just Netflix and chill to? The fear of death follows from the fear of life. I'm taking a week off from everything and I've been binge-watching American Horror Story (done with Coven now) and yesterday I binged on the last couple episodes of Sex and the City.
Now I'm scared to start watching AHS's Freak Show because Murder House wasn't scary, Asylum was scary af and Coven wasn't scary again, so I'm scared that Freak Show will scare the crap out of me again.
On Sex and the City: I cried like a baby during the penultimate episode. It reminded me of my own Mr. Big and oh, well, the memory hadn't been that intense in a while. Also a little during the last one, of course (I always cry when a show ends).
Next thing I'll watch will probably be the new season of Orange is the new Black. That is if I don't have the guts to watch AHS.

strawberrybubblegum I have a TON of friends that love American Horror Story... That needs to get added to the list.. I think there is a story there with your personal version of "Mr Big"... Would love to hear it sometime. Let you know when I start watching AHS.. The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. -Mark Twain

Just came back from the movie theatre where I watched "Red Turtle", an animated movie. Quite nice and very different from the usual Hollywood production.

I watched The Hunting Ground yesterday...i love documentaries, and this one is really interesting, while dismaying, as it shows you how common sexually assaults/rapes are on college campuses. And the universities do everything to sweep it under carpet.

AHS is awesome! Everyone should definitely watch it, I personally didn't like Hotel, but Freakshow was great.
I'm watching Once Upon A Time, I am only in season one though

Been re-watching Stargate SG-1 from the first episode on. Yes, I'm a nerd. I did that last year with all the seasons of The X-Files. Last year I was working part time and watched all of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis in something like 2 months. (Obsession!) Funny thing is I never cared about SG1 when it first came out. SGA did not happen to air on TV in the country I was living in, while it was in production, otherwise I would have been hooked. I mean: Space Vampires. How could I resist? I still avidly read SGA fanfiction. A.

I should probably get a subscription to Netflix, huh? I already pay $150 for cable and internet, though. I think an ex gave me her password, maybe I'll just show up on there. lol Does Netflix have porn?

Currently watching Scrubs and Unbreakable Kinmy Schmidt, but I pretty much exclusively watch Netflix even though my family and University have cable. My favorite shows on there below, I usually go through a show every couple of months it seems. I much prefer the continuous watching of one show rather than watching it once a week over several years -Black Mirror -30 Rock -The Office -It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia -Friends -Parks and Rec -The League -Garfunkle and Oates

I've watched 15 episodes in 2 days. That is normal, right? Question for the FNL fans: Is it worth watching when Jason actually leaves the series? Save
