Figured since we have a what are you listening to... and other fandom threads... just want to know what people are watching in general. Just watched Edge of Tomorrow... FUCKING LOVED IT! So damn unique and original... and let me say.. it's every soldier's wet dream to be able to train to the point of dying only to respawn until you become the ultimate super soldier and kick ultimate ass. It had a love story without being hoakie about it. AND Emily Blunt is hot... even more so as a rotor blade wielding bad ass alien slaying hottie. Gotta hand it to the Japanese though... This movie was based on one of their novels... I didn't know that before watching it.. just had a feeling since I know that there are many hollywood works that are inspired else straight ripped off from Japanese anime, novels, and manga. There is something haunting, monotonous about how they presented it... yet without ever being boring.... and it had interjections of some dark but hilarious humor throughout. It screamed foreign... too much nuance for the average hollywood action sci-fi. Thoughts Celaena hartmannwrites ? SO.. now I post that questions to all of you.. what movie or series did you just Netflix and chill to? The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. -Mark Twain I am Netflix and Chilling with Jason Street! Finally getting around to watching Friday Night Lights. I've watched 15 episodes in 2 days. That is normal, right? Question for the FNL fans: Is it worth watching when Jason actually leaves the series? SaveI love FNL for the story as well as the dev factor! I really got into the show so I kept watching after Street left. He makes some appearances later too!

I'm cheating here as I've been watching it on DVD, but BBC Four's spoof rockumentery series 'Brian Pern', about a fictional Peter Gabrial-esque aging rockstar has had me in fits of laughter tonight.

I actually wanted to ask this question now that GOT is over. Now I have some ideas. I get bored pretty easily with movies and tv shows lately but I have seen a few that I endured till the end. I watched the last season of Orange is the new black and even though a lot a strange stuff happened I still watched the whole thing. I like silly comedy like Love and The unbreakable kinmy smith. I also like the good wife. And tried to watch Vikings and Mr Robot but got bored.

I've been trying to watch the Gilmore girls for MONTHS now... finally in the 7th season... After its over i'm not sure... I hate admitting this.. BUT my gf started watching it.. it was good in the first few season.. I indulged without her.. she caught me because obviously netflix remembers where you were... It got lame after the run away bride deal.. my personal opinion.. BUT yes.. I indulged. The fear of death follows from the fear of life. yahhh, i watch films/docs on my kindle...lot free if you're prime member! I still pay the fuckin $150 for cable, seems crazy coz I only watch a handful of channels. my one renter doesn't watch tv at all, and the other one only watches baseball. The living room TV doesn't get used. Kindle is great for porn, too...not that i've ever watched it. I just heard about it from a friend.

I have a lot of catching up to do on Netflix, I loved the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but couldn't get into the second one. Started to watch Heroes Returned, but it wasn't the same, I wish they hadn't stuffed around with Sylar's character, otherwise I think we may have gotten a few more seasons out of the original show. I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread for when I want to have another binge sesh. AHS is high on the what next list though.

Shameless. I'm on season 5. It's immoral, unethical and unprincipled. So entertaining!

Oh, and Jimmy/Steve, he's like a cockroach; you can't kill him. At first I wasn't sure if I could continue to watch the depravity, but you just gotta shake it off.

I've enjoyed Shameless, but I am growing tired of things never going their way. I gave up on 6 Feet Under for that reason--it just became too depressing seeing them all constantly hosed.

I just finished Six Feet Under a few weeks ago. Its one of my all time favorites!! Yes it was depressing but I think I laughed out loud at some point in every episode. The humor balanced out all the darkness. I know exactly what you mean though. There were one or two times I had to roll my eyes because of all the conflicts going on. No family has that many problems...
