I just finished Dark Matter and Limitless on Netflix. I'm open to suggestions on what to watch next. I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO. I'm into all sorts of genres drama, scifi, comedies, documentaries etc. Also, I'm looking for someone to watch a series with. We can watch a few episodes and then talk about it afterwards. If anyone's interested let me know.

There are no bad films, only bad tastes.  Nah, it's hard one to answer as it's all so subjective. Anyway, I watched 'Le Vie En Rose', the Edith Piaf biopic on Itunes yesterday and I cried my eyes out at least 4 times in the first hour. Such a sad life she lead, but she left behind such beautiful songs. |

These were the French doing it, though. Ah, understandable. It's a national trait, being all sexy-like. Heck, even in 'Le Vie En Rose' there was a gratuitous boob shot (an extra just casually walks past the camera with her croissants out) before a dramatic scene were to take place. The French can flaunt flesh in any form without failure, fault or fear on non-flattery. That's what I admire about the French both as artists and people, they just appreciate what we all have and aren't afraid to show it. OK, rant over. |
