I watched Crip Camp on Netflix tonight and I really enjoyed it. I’m sure it’s been discussed on this board before. A documentary detailing the rise of the disability rights movement, as well as lots of good footage of disability stuff in the 60’s, and interviews with the people in that footage now.

Watched it about a year and some change ago and really lit my heart on fire to fight for disability rights. We've had very LITTLE movement since ADA passed in 1990. Colorado is doing some amazing work around access mandates in housing, basic access mandates in outdoor spaces, fixing language in the anti discrimination law that was passed back in '13 so that administrative complaint process can not be used to block securing actual access, and mandating coverage of an athletic prosthetic for kids with amputations. CO already made title 2 of ADA state law and mandated web access for our visually impaired brothers and sisters. AS WELL AS mandate that car rental companies offering accessible options make them selectable on their website instead of a sep but not equal special number to reserve AND THEN some accountability if they do not fulfill the rental obligation. It's passed time. Lucky to have orgs in Colorado like CCDC and Disability Law leading the charge on trying to get this done. We will see whether elected there vote for it or kill those bills and allow ablism and discrimination against us to continue. |

I watched Shotgun Wedding on Prime Video, which I found kind of ridiculously silly, though it did make me laugh at certain intervals. I'm now watching the second season of the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla, and I must say the actor playing Leif Ericsson is pretty badass, since he's not afraid to fight the brutally violent and quite corrupt underlings for the medieval monarchies of Norway and England. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.

I just watched the latest episode of the Last of Us and man, that show really gets my tear ducts going (the first episode especially).
I did not think Nick Offerman would make a good gay guy, but he pulled it off (even though I wish they cast an actual gay guy).

Korean show on Netflix right now, called Physical 100, I highly recommend. Top tier reality TV in which 100 people compete over physical challenges in a competition that was clearly inspired by Squid Games. Contestants are true bastions of athleticism such as Olympic gold medalist, special forces military, MMA fighter, etc. Tons of sexy muscular dudes, and really funny subtitles. Plus it’s interesting to just see the cultural differences with the way Korean people do shit.

I'm currently watching the NBC series New Amsterdam, which imho isn't that great, but it's not all that bad either. I'm reserving my final judgment for the finale.

I have been watching Clarkson‘s farm on Amazon Prime, I have to admit it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. This is series 2, and it’s a lot better than the first one.
