maybe because us brits keep things to ourselves, it is harder for devs to "come out of the closet" then in other countries

Well, you should know your b/f well enough by now to have some idea of his motivation for sharing fantasies:
Is it so you two can 'spice up' your sex lives?
Is it so you can each please the other better? And also know each other more deeply?
Or...is he trying to ease into telling you something like he's bi, or he wants to swing, or tie you up or whatever?
If you decide he really, sincerely, truly wants to know who you are sexually...I'd tell him. He did ask, after all.

for some of us there is no point in coming out?? this thread is prob not the best place to ask the following but here goes, my boyf has been on and on about sharing sexual fantasies, i wasnt supirsed at his at all which he shared very easily...and i was killing myself laughing inside when he told me( i was like um is this supposed to be sexy?? for who?) ok so ive been making up silly ones here and there mostly to keep him shut up..but what if i told the truth?? told him that most of my fantasies are about disabled men? i dont know? and ALSO i dont really know if it would turn me on him acting disbaled for the sake of a fantasy? ...just my own take on this, but it's best to keep it to yourself. I've let certain "fantasies" out of the bag before, and you have to live with it forever - they never forget!! And, you can't take it back...

Tony is right, some fantasies are better left alone. Example: I had a guy friend when I was younger who was very hot, in a Jim Morrison sort of way. I had a bit of a crush on him, but something always kept me slightly distant from him. He was a very intelligent guy and he had a certain aspect of his personality that set him apart as a bit aloof. After several years of friendship (he turned out to be bi-sexual, possibly leaning more towards homosexual but unable to admit it to himself) he informed me that he LOVED wearing women's panties and wanted to meet a very dominant woman who would force him to do just that. I wish he would have kept that one to himself. Thereafter, I just couldn't stop thinking about what color his lace undies might be every time I saw him and just what a turn off that was to me.

Yeah, but...in the scheme of things I'm not sure having devo fantasies is really all that shocking or outrageous. It's UNUSUAL, but that's not the same as disgusting or disturbing. If I was a.b. and had a g/f who confessed she was a dev, I'd probably say: "REALLY?! Disabled guys? huh..." But it wouldnt be such a big deal. I mean if she told me she liked 'em waaay hung, that'd be much, much worse.

I gotta ask; what were your bf's fantasies that you thought were so funny?

just my 2 cents. if the guy i was with was not disabled i definitely would not share the dev thing with him. (even if he was, i would take it on a case by case basis!) the main thing i've been thinking about, which is what you just touched upon, leilia....is i would hate being watched for a reaction everytime someone with a disability is around. also, for me, i wouldn't be at all turned on by the guy pretending....so what's the point? i'd just keep it my little "thing". something to turn to in my fantasies when things get dull. plus, i think it would kill the fun of your fantasies if you had to talk about it all the time.

I agree; don't tell the short guy that you have a thing for tall dudes. No matter what he does, he'll always be short...and now that he knows that you have a thing for height, every guy 2" taller than him will be suspect. If it's something your partner can accomodate, sharing can be an important part of bonding. If they can't, it's probably best left as a private fantasy.

i laughed because they were so 'unoriginal' and just typical things that most men find kinky! "Ok, so...here's my most secret fantasy...I've never told anyone this..." "Yes?" "Give me a sec...its tough to put this into words...umm." "Goodness...it must really be something." "Ok...you know how I thought that waitress at the restaurant tonight was so hot? Well, wouldn't it be so hot if she came home with us and we had a threesome? God, the thought of it just turns me on so much." Am I close? --J

I have had threesomes with two women , and with a couple A lot of people get jealous and can`t handle their insecurities. Most men have the fantasy of having sex with two women, but don`t like it when the girl friend has a fantasy of wanting sex with two men! Maybe it is insecurities about penis size etc, they just go out and buy a flash car instead

(even if he was, i would take it on a case by case basis!) /quote] Maybe the best way is to tell someone you really trust, if you are single and they can help you look, or tell your boyfriend if they are disabled. Personally i think that would help in a relationship. For me it would make me feel more secure in a relationship, knowing any able bodied "friend" that tries to pinch her when my back is turned, have vastly reduced chances of success
