Do any of you have experience with Literotica? Reading or writing?
Just looking for experience feedback. I know it's not for dev romance but it's geared toward more of an "all things sex/fetish" nature in any form or shape.
It appears a very over saturated site with so many stories and things going on, almost too much to dig through. It also seems that it's dominated by men.

A guilty reader here. I'll admit that much like Fetlife, whilst my interests in Bondage and CFNM are as tame as they can be, a lot of the stuff on there just seems too strong.
But I guess it depends on the kink.

Exactly, that's the trouble with places that have little to no moderation. Nothing filtered and the way people can take advantage of that is rather worrying.

I have used literotica a few times over the years, both as a reader and as a contributor, although I use it more sparingly these days. The problem I find with it is that I think it has become a victim of its own success...there is almost too much stuff on there. It is like going into a restaurant and being given a 50 page menu to choose something from; it can be quite overwhelming and it is really difficult to separate the quality from the dross. Having said that, I have had some interesting correspondence and conversations with people I have met on there in the past, so maybe I will return again.
I also used to frequent a site called richards realm a long time ago which had erotic literature and a chat room. I ended up having a relationship with someone I met in the chat room there. Happy days! I've just looked to see if the site is still there...it is, but it doesn't seem to have been updated in years.

TBH I haven't actually read anything on there in a while. What I meant was that when I found that site, and was (like others have said) overwhelmed at the diversity of options, I realized that people type far more risqué things into the Search field than "wheelchair" ...and maybe it wasn't actually such an objectifying and disrespectful thing to search for.
