Yep it's something that can evolve naturally, particularly if you originally meet 'online' but still real life role play is much much better 😜 I completely agree Tykes. Real life is the way to go! 😊 I’m not sure whether online role play between a PWD and a Dev is any different to that involving any other 2 individuals. Surely what is of paramount importance is something that has been previously alluded to and that is the presence of chemistry. Ok so the nature of role play between a PWD and a Dev may have some differences geared to the disability and the preference of the Dev, but ultimately it’s 2 people communicating with each other. When 2 people meet be it online or IRL chemistry is that unmistakable connection that cannot be manufactured, it’s either there or it’s not. Yes I dare say an online ‘meeting of minds’ can result in an attraction that develops emotionally physically and sexually, and of course the latter requires an IRL encounter. But for me before any role play was even considered there would have to be that almost ‘electric’ feeling of ‘wow’, I need to get to know this person.

I'd be open to RP and conversation with women only. Will I need my polyhedral dice? 😎 ✌ When do you not, honestly.

Bumping this thread up again. Curious if there are any lady devs interested in PM-only roleplay, no pics, no strings attached, just good old fashioned dev/PWD role play.

Bumping this thread up again. Curious if there are any lady devs interested in PM-only roleplay, no pics, no strings attached, just good old fashioned dev/PWD role play. I had something like that going on once, was really satisfying while it lasted.
The nice thing was that I did not specifically try to search for that kind of contact respectively exchange back then.
Just by coincidence I found the right woman for it.
Now that I am searching for this besides something serious, because it's fun, it rarely results in anything. So far I had success during my search only via advertisements.
But the contacts never lasted long.
If it doesn't lead to anything real in the end, you have to be aware of the fact that the mailing will die out at some point.
Consequently, you always have to look for new contacts. And that takes time.
Nevertheless I wish you good luck!

Thanks, yeah, I'm a realist. I know that devs are scattered all over the world, and to my knowledge, there aren't any where I'm at, so it's at least something when one does RP.

It actually gives you a lot, even if it doesn't come close to something real, you are definitely more balanced and satisfied. Above all, there are no limits in writing.
You just really have to match with your writing partner. As soon as the writing seems too forced, you can forget it.

As I've said, it's a win-win for everyone. It's a good way for devs to learn some intricacies about a certain disability (websites and data will give you lots of technical facts, but when you hear how it personally affects someone, you gain a better understanding.) PWDs can gain confidence speaking with devs or others (every interaction is a learning experience, even the ones which go wrong.) You can blow off some steam and sexual tension with a little fun online role-play. You can even create a bond which grows into something IRL one day. Who knows? It's fun.

That's how I see it, too. It' s no harm to anyone. And yes, it's fun. I've always agreed with my contacts to tell each other openly if we don't want to write each other anymore. So there's no bad blood. The one who lasted the longest was 4 years.

This is really interesting.
So if I just was myself, without overly focusing on my disability, would you guys still call it role-playing? What for you guys would make it different from simple romance talk/sexting?
If talking about romantic and sexual things with a dev, with in my case highlighting some things that I experience different or more intensely , I've done it a few times without ever calling it or thinking of it in that way. It was really enjoyable and sometimes felt very intimate in its own particular way.
While the real thing is also for me on a whole different level, such an exchange of intricate and vivid descriptions of sensations and scenarios can affect me quite deeply.
I honestly never considered myself as someone who likes role-playing, but if this is what it is, I might have to reconsider ...

To be quite honest, I actually enjoyed doing it the way you described it. Without really creating scenarios where me and my writing partner are someone else. I also never thought about the question if I would really call it role playing.
I think, sexting, dirty talk or something similar would also apply as a term in this case. I'm not an expert, I just like to do it. With the last woman which I wrote to - she was married as so often*g*, so we couldn't find times to write each other in real time, like in a chat or via instant messenger. -, I tried to write an erotic continuation story for a while: We had agreed on a nurse-patient scenario. This might have been more like what someone would call role playing. But what do I know? Anyway, it didn't work for long. The intervals of the mails were too long and at some point she didn't answer anymore, Either there was a domestic disturbance or she didn't like my fantasies in the end... Whatever I would say, do it the way you enjoy it most and don't think too much about what you might call it. But of course I can only speak for myself.

As a guy with CP< I've done tons of RP, and straight-up Cyber, for that matter. Never done anything Dev related, but would love to try. My biggest thing is that you need to be able to write well.

I'ma throw this out ONE more time. Since everyone's all quarantined up, who wants to play dev/PWD role playing here in the messages?
