Sea cucumber - at least what is called like that around here - is a disgusting little animal. If they feel themselfs in danger they press out their inner organs and do as it they wouldn't be anything else but a piece of dead skin...

Thank for the welcome Judit. Ya sea cucumbers are animals. They are the earth worm of the sea. There is several types, depending on where you are. When something grabs them they inflate with water life a ballon. (really like something else that should get grabed a lot:-)) If that dosent work, after a while, they crap out there guts. They eat all the little tiny stuff that collects on the bottom.The skin is not so good but if you scrape out the meat in them, fry in butter for only a short time, very good, like abalone.
I am in the middle of flood warnings right now and want to go help throw sand bags but a guy ina chair would only get in the way. Mabe bring them some hot coffee. Well untill next time ,all you hot devo's have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
