I saw this one posted by Enlightened Consciousness and wanted to share on PD. I thought it was appropriate . "One day you will tell your story of how you've overcome what you're going through now and it will become part of someone else's survival guide."

I was at an arts class yesterday. It was not really a class.... more like "come, see, be creative...." and I really was looking forward to do some mixed media art. So same thing as within a collage for example, you can use cut-outs from newspapers, magazines or books, draw and do whatever you want to at that moment... .. and I opened up one of these magazines and "it" was right there. The perfect description about travels. I'll try to translate as good as I can: "The most beautifully you travel with light suitcases and a beating heart. When you're standing there without a compass, but with soapbubbles in your pocket, with flip-flop shoes on your feet and with a sleeping bag in your arms, being ready for an adventure." and here's my picture to that story (it still needs some fine-tuning... but this is all I could do within 2 hours)...

feelsunshine, the quote is beautiful and your artwork is equally as beautiful! You are very talented . On another note, I need to take the advice of "light suitcases" as I make my way through the adventure of Italy !!

@southerncalgal I also tend to pack way too much stuff and in the end it always turns out that I only need half of that. So for my tip, I’ll take that advice as well! and thanks for the compliment

Love your picture. The colors and placements. Great quote too.

feelsunshine...the quote struck me as how I often feel about meeting (hopefully) a terrific PWD guy. The adventure of a lifetime! Made my day. Thanks.

Because I just love this thread...I wanted to share. Some of you know that I will be sending my only child off to college in about 6 weeks. I stumbled upon this quote on a Facebook posting for the school she is going to. Although, it is not the first time I have heard this quote, it has a significant amount of meaning to me now. "To raise a child who is comfortable enough to leave you means you've done your job. They are not ours to keep but to teach how to soar on their own."
And, we must of done a really, really good job because she can't wait to go LOL!!

"If you see your glass half empty, pour it into a smaller glass and stop bitching"
Not sure of author. Was on an ad for Ellie's cafe in Chicago that popped up on my feed for some reason. Its now tucked into my mirror to remind me and make me laugh.

I saw this quote on a womensmarch Instagram post:
"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."
- Harriet Tubman
Enjoy!!
