Apis 1) I like old dramas, there's an English series called 'Cracker' that I'm currently working through and it's great. 2) Mr. Lynch can do no wrong. Love his work, Twin Peaks, Wild At Heart and Blue Velvet being favourites. 3) Twin Peaks can be mildly unsettling, but nothing too scary. Awe, Blue Velvet is one of my favorite movies! I had a major girl crush on Isabella Rossellini back in the day 😊☺️😂. I agree that David Lynch can do no wrong!!!

Tiger King... who else has watched this? I did! Ugh...I hated it but watched the entire thing. My joke about it was "Siegfried and Roy on Meth." I am just sickened by the exotic animal trade - always have been. This was not new news to me. So saddened by the abuse of vulnerable people as well .

Tiger King... who else has watched this? I watched it this week, a bit behind as it seems the whole world is talking about it. I was stunned by how crazy they all are, and a bit sad that they seem to have sucked in a lot of people. Maybe I missed the point, but it didn’t seem like Carole Baskin was any different to the rest of them.

I recently watched the first two seasons of Tokyo Ghoul.
I don't know if there are already further seasons available outside Germany.
Anyway, the series is one of the best I've seen so far regarding anime. I was seldom so emotionally touched.

Netflix BoJack Horseman: really drew me in and I fell in love with all the main characters and each of their arcs were so well done and wrapped up perfectly.
After Life: not a huge Gervais fan but my brother insisted I give it a try ended up binge watching it in one day. Season 1 ended so perfectly that I have refused to watch the second season.
Her: talk about a weird romance movie and form of love that was quite heartwarming.
Hulu Letterkenny: surprised this wasn't listed but I find the constant callbacks and catchphrases to be hilarious. I've watched the entire series multiple times and have yet to be bored with it. Although maybe it is because I come from a small town.
HBO Westworld: season 1 and 2 blew my mind and I thought it was over. Just found out recently there is a third season, although I lack the HBO membership now.

The fou rth season of Mr. Robot but meh. Now i´ m totally into Killing Eve and Fleabag by 5th time. That's why binging all at once can be better sometime... I get into a show... wait... and wait.. and wait for the next season.. by the time it comes out... forget altogether kind of what's going on.. just sometimes lose interest all together.

Yes, but if the show is good you can make an effort, but Mr . Robot ....is sad to watch how it ends

I can relate to that. Some shows are simply better consumed all at once, especially those of a particular depth either in their characters or their narratives. Mad Men, Peep Show, Killing Eve and Frasier could be good examples of this.

After Life season 1 and season 2 a mix of dark comedy and a real deep message that I'm sure a lot of people can connect with in many different ways Speaking of Ricky Gervais Derek is a great watch as well!

I have a rather strong dislike of Ricky Gervais, he is an opinionated asshole, which makes it impossible for me to watch anything he is in without getting seriously irritated 😂

I tried to watch this because everyone was losing their mind over it, but couldn't make it through the first 10 minutes. The first scene had a snow leopard sitting in a hot van in the sun, panting, and I had to turn it off right there. There was a time casual cruelty like that didn't make my stomach do flip-flops, but now is not that time. Anyway, I'm up way past my bedtime because of the latest season of The Last Kingdom. Uhtred got a bad haircut, but continues to be my favorite 9th century tough guy.

Me too! I can't stand him! I have enjoyed parts of Afterlife, mainly the flashbacks to his relationship with his wife, but for a lot of the rest my husband is laughing and I am poker faced... i feel there is an 'edge' or a sharpness to Ricky Gervais that I have an instinctive dislike/response to, but find it hard to put my finger on just what it is.
