limplegs I love that movie! Lakeith Stanfield was perfect in it. It felt like if you mixed David Lynch and Jordan Peele, I get the similarity to Get Out. Anyway, here's a pic of my small movie collection I've been working on. Definitely some of my favorites. What movie should I add next?

I recently saw the movie 'The Fundamentals of Caring' on Netflix. It's about the relationship between a new caregiver Ben (played by Paul Rudd) and a young client called Trevor. Has anyone seen it? And what are your thoughts on it? ^.^

I didn't love some of the pranks Trevor played on his caregiver as I didn't feel that they would happen in real life. I did like Trevor’s sardonic humor as I am pretty sardonic myself, and I did like the premise. I think it's important to have more movies about disability but I felt like the movie exaggerated a lot of things and somewhat misleads the viewers because of that.

Watched "Don't Fuck with Cats".... REALLY WELL DONE.. deals with a lot of societal (anthropological I guess is the more correct word, right?), psychological, and criminal issues in a really intense and eerie way. Wouldn't recommend watching at night if you have issues with anxiety.

Its right, this movie is superficial, miss reality, but still good comedy with some original ideas, like a final scene on waterfall.

I recently watched The Sister Brothers.
Since my father showed me a lot of westerns at a pretty young age(first it were John Wayne movies, later Clint Eastwood movies and others.), the movie was a must see anyway. Many westerns are not shot anymore. The Sisters Brothers was not the movie I expected. I had expected a western with scurrilous characters and funny dialogues when I saw the trailer. But for most of the time the movie was more of a drama with a focus on the feelings and problems of its characters. This wasn't bad, but it didn't allow much tension to develop. Nevertheless, the actors are good and it's also worth watching the movie, because it's a European production. It was directed by the Frenchman Jacques Audiard, from whom I can definitely recommend the prison/gangster movie A Prophet(Un prophète)

I totally agree with you guys.. Although I liked to overall message of chasing your dreams.. However, I don't really agree with some of things. But most of all, what I really disliked was that the main character not being portrayed by someone with a disability. I know the movie is a couple of years old, but still.. Because of this, some scenes were really unrealistic.. What do you guys think? Is it okay if a character with a disability is portrayed by someone without a disability? Or is it a big no? What's your view on it? P.s. Don't F**K with Cats is indeed amazing.. It's the second show I have bingewatched.. And both of the shows I did, I wasn't on planning to binge.. So that's good, right? ^.^

rollinaround Certainly a big NO, it would mislead the majority of people who are not in the matter. From a public perspective, it is better that the film is maximally close to reality and shows the real problems of these people and gives good examples of possible Their decisions.Of course it would be best if it does it in a fun way. I'm just imagining... -Hey buddy, why aren't you like the guy from the movie...? -My life is different...!

Apparently the US decided to make a remake just like they did with “Let The Right One In” and “Les Intouchables.” And obviously it does not look as good!

Although I'll have to wait a little longer for the movies you mentioned. I prefer the English language versions. After The Gentlemen, Joker and Birds of Prey are on my watch list. But the other movies are not to be ignored either. I have some catching up to do. I was already happy when I could finally watch Game Night. For me it's one of the best comedies of the last years! Normally I like to watch really black humorous Scandinavian comedies. The absolutely weirdest movie, which was not a pure comedy, but where I laughed damn much despite the very serious basic theme, was Big Bad Wolves. It's an Israeli production and it's a bit older, but it really surprised me. You can hardly find a darker humour in any other movie. I think the Coen brothers would be the only ones to do something similar.
