back tat , this tattoo is about 9 years old. its integrated into my scar and its like its stabbed into the flesh at the top of my scar.  |

I always love seeing photos of my back piece because i don’t often see it day to day! Love the tattoo! How many hours and sittings did this take? Thank you! It was done between 2008-2010 so the numbers are a little worn off  I would say at least 30 hours, and it was done in 2-4 hour sittings, but there were several that my skin became irritated and started rejecting the ink after 15 minutes (pale girl problems...) |

Are there any guys on here who have had tattoos on skin they can’t feel? I have often wanted to know if dysreflexia does happen when the needle penetrate the skin. I can feel about 2 inches down from my shoulder, as I am C4/5.

I love all the ink in this thread! There are some really gorgeous pieces posted! I have 3 pieces so far, (and totally plan to get more <3) but I want to share the piece that means the most to me: my Little Prince tatt. It just reminds me that life can be bittersweet, but to keep going regardless; because it can also be beautiful.  |
