Yes, have thought about it...I would like to have heirs.
Haven't got that far...but I use the 'normal' technique.
There are some pretty low-priced ones out there, if you do a little shopping

I don't know enough about SCI to tell you if vibrators would do the trick. Honestly, though, if nothing else does, I don't see how a vibrator would be any different. And they're really not too expensive, especially given the reason you're investing. If you can't afford a vibrator, I wouldn't recommend children -- they're much more expensive.
Either way, as windrider said, they're available fairly inexpensively. I have researched before, and occasionally still do, for my own use, and have subsequently come across all the varieties, but I'm still yet to find anything to suit my application... not to mention the fringe complications.

Charlene what part of Europe are you in? I'm in England and you can buy a vibrator here for under £10!

Charlene....I'm confused, is this for b/f, or YOU??? lol I've personally used vibs with girls many times, and it's an amazing feeling for the female. Some men are insulted that the toy can do a better job than the his natural "tool," but I've never seen it that way. The way my ex-g/f's eyes looked when she felt the vib for first time is embedded in my memory forever, and she really fell in love with the feeling. I think the new Apple iPhone doubles as one, along with the mp3 player...just put it on vibrate, and have your b/f keep calling you with redial. I've actually done this for fun...lol Not the iPhone, of course!! Here's a link to one I've used with girls before www.xandria.com/sex-toys/vibrators/g-spot-vibrators/G-Spot-Jelly-id-987.html

Hmm...I was reading on that site you provided...
...they do seem to have a way it can be prescribed (I geuss it can be argued it's medically necessary??)...perhaps you two could pursue that option...?

It's been years since I looked at the medical vibrator site, but what I recall is that it provides constant stimulation at a certain "magical" frequency. Well, you can do the same thing. It's what works for me. Charlene, don't spend a bunch of money until you confirm that this doesn't work. I discovered this quite by accident a couple of years ago. It requires that I be stimulated - by hand, orally, by intercourse, whatever - on and off for an hour, sometimes more. There's nothing wrong with taking breaks in there to stimulate my partner. In fact, it seems to work better with these breaks, and I like exploring my partner's body; so it works out well. And, I believe that if 30 minutes of lovemaking is good, 4 hours is better! If you agree, try it. If he is the first SCI guy with whom you've been and you have expectations of pretty quick stimulation and ejaculation from being with A/B guys - especially young ones - you will be disappointed. But it is possible. Thank you, Jason.

talk to your spinal doctor. they can usually organise a test to see if the medical vibrator is an option. it works in a vast majority of cases, but what they also need to test is the quality of the sperm after. as for $500 vibrators yes they are that much. they perform at a specific frequency and amplitude that causes a reflex ejaculation in all males. you can try the adult shop ones and u might get lucky, but really it'd need to be variable speed and quite powerful. there's also a risk of dysreflexia if he's never ejaculated that way so may pay not to experiment too much on your own. best advice is talk to the doctor.... then play away!! its fun finding out anyway

Does this method of conception really work? For years I have been under the impression that surgical sperm removal (to get the required "quality") and artificial insemination was the only reliable option. I will admit that not having any offspring is probably my largest regret to date.
If this method works, it's a STEAL at $500!
