Welcome to PD! What are some of the films you've made? What sort of writing do you do? Sounds like you've been living the creative's dream! well thats a full question. the last documentary i was working on is about a successful thai engineer that become a buddhist monk and converted an abandoned monastery into a hospice/clinic for rural HIV and tuberculosis patients. but the film is somewhat on hold. i've been working with an old drummer of mine turned screenwriter on some scripts. one is called "the underdog" and its basically me traveling around the world interviewing disabled people who have accomplished amazing things in the world of entertainment, finance, or sport. the other is a simi autographical comedy based on my time living and performing in venice beach. That all sounds super cool!!

You should try posting some of your documentaries here or give a list of what documentaries or films you have work on

Hello everybody, I hope everyone in the states had a great holiday. And for everyone else, I hope you enjoyed the 4th without having to deal with us goddamned Americans. Can’t wait to be able to leave this “pink bubble” again.(it’s what cool Americans call America when we are out in the world.) so I wanted to share some of my work. I did this awhile ago but I thought I would share this first. I sincerely hope you enjoy. If you like I will post more. And let me know if the link is good. www.thetalentmanager.com/talent/90991/simon-tatum

That's a punchy little film, yikes. Thank you for sharing both the playing and the experience.

Us PWDs truly are so much more fortunate than PWDs of previous generations. Still a long way to go though.

Or did i miss the satire? Sadly, it’s real. I didn’t know we still had a freak show here, but it did not surprise me at all to find out we did. I didn’t even think twice about it until you said something. Like I said, long way to go... much respect to devin though for having the humility to do something like that, it only for the sake of an interesting experience and exposing things to the world. I feel like if I were in that situation I might attack the crowd or something lol. Not sure what kind of documentary it would be then 😂😂

Thanks for sharing this documentary, it was captivating and well done without "screaming" for attention. This was super interesting and you are a courageous dude to have taken on this experiment. You are also very handsome 😉 just saying

devin1205 , big welcome to PD, this place has already gained huge with you joining it. I sincerely hope you are here to stay. Your documentary is really deeply moving, provocative, controversial and enlightening. After watching it, I can't help but wonder what's your opinion on devs. Do you find parallel between us devs and audience at the freak show? We can't ignore the fact we both, in a way, enjoy you being "freak", right? Is your attitude towards it the same, "I don't care, as long as I benefit from it"? I understand that my question is tricky and provocative one, too and I wouldn't normally ask it. But having in mind your movie and posts so far I'm sure you'll handle it well.
