I've been gaming a lot more since lockdown and I've been able to get friends into it too which has been great.
I have a close friend round every 2 weeks on a Saturday and we game and eat pizza and have long, serious discussions at the same time.
Funny how mature, balanced discussions around our respective mental health and the like are fuelled by a glorified toy isn't it?

I had been playing some Warzone with friends online, but we all kind of got bored with that. Since then I've been playing F1 2020, to coincide with becoming a new F1 fan. Wonk I heard you're the man to talk to about that.

I just started playing INTO THE BREACH, a fun 16-bit turn based strategy game where you use MECHS to destroy giant insects. It's a lot more complicated than that, but that's at least the gist of the game. Also you can play the whole game with just a mouse, which is super helpful.

I enjoy playing video games a lot (Xbox) I was just wondering if there were many other gamers here and what they enjoyed playing? happy for this to include all kinds of games not just videogames I enjoy RPGs and sports titles mostly, I like the escapism of them and its nice to play online with friends too Yes! I have a PS4 and love playing. I'm a massive fan of the Resident Evil games and old school Tomb Raider. I have recently played through The Last Of Us 2 & Ghost Of Tsushima, highly recommended!

If I am overstepping, please let me know, but is there a need for 3D printed adapters for video game controllers? Possibly specifically customized?
I have a PS4 and play a variety of games? Diablo actually calms me the F down, something gratifying about slaughtering all the demons), and I think I will be printing a left joystick adapter cuz my thumb hurts after I play a while.
I ask cuz I have a 3D printer arriving in November, I am interested in possibly making them and sending them out for the cost of materials + postage if that would be helpful.

Lately, I’ve been playing the video game Divinity 2: Original Sin. It’s been a while since I’ve been sucked into a game this strongly. I’ve never played a game with combat like this before. I like it way more than Diablo 3, which is the only other game I’ve played that’s similar to this. Also, the story is super interesting. Thanks to nate for showing it to me (sorry we didn’t get to play that multi-player). Separately, I’ve been watching this YouTube channel called North of the Border, where this guy builds miniatures based on video games and other nerdy things. Here’s one of my favorite videos by him so far:

Shoutout to zacc for Divinity, that is a great game. Very well crafted. I love being a summoner with that big elemental beasty. Path of Exile is a free game that scratches all of the same itches for me, although mechanically it's a little different. Path is so so so good, I ended up spending a bunch on cosmetics to support the devs. I never did get into Diablo III because the transition away from the isometric tileset view of the first two games offended my sensibilities. Path and Divinity both skirt around that by giving you a 3D render that you can rotate, but it's got that nice classic iso angle.

I accidentally pulled a couple of all-nighters replaying Fallout: New Vegas recently. It is still one of the best games I have played.

I game on the PS4 and occasionally Xbox. I'm currently playing Borderlands 3. I'm kinda pissed Playstation isn't included in the recent cross play update. I'd love to find people to play and hang out with.
Other than that I play and stream games that interest me on YouTube. Since I'm a quad I have to lick my controller and use the palms of hands to play. I'll stream games and see how accessible they are. If anyone's interested in checking out my YouTube channel. Shoot me a message. I'm not sure if promotion is allowed on this part of the forum

I would say that I'm not an avid, but certainly a casual, gamer. Sometimes I play Age Of Empires III on my PC in my spare time. I'm totally psyched for AOE IV!!

It is so good; almost an FTL 2. [FTL is by the same devs as Into the Breach] And for those who never heard it, Faster Than Light is this cool, rather old game, top down, where you manage your crew and ship on a Star Trek -ish Rogue-lite [everything is random each time you play but you unlock stuff as you reply] adventure. Very easy controls, but very complex strategies to win consistently.

I've been playing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous lately. I really didn't like Pathfinder: Kingmaker, but WotR is REALLY good. It's one of the best cRPGs I've played in a really long time actually.
I also play a lot of Escape from Tarkov, I think I have like 800 hours in it, but I'm kinda taking a break until the next update. The most recent one didn't add enough to keep me interested and there are some big changes coming to the game in the next update.
