I stumble upon this post really late, but yup! I've read vol 1 twice (once before it was released in my language) and am probably, what, halfway into the 2nd one? I find it really well written... it doesn't overly romanticise or leave out uncomfortable (or incidentally devvy) parts.

It’s the only manga/manhwa series I know that has a paraplegic main character rather than a side character or one that goes to another world and is no longer disabled.
There is also the manga series Real by Inoue Takehiko, about wheelchair basketball. Strong recommend.

and another: Aw yes Real. My first manga series. I read it in middle school maybe and if I was reading it in public I'd HIDE the page I wasn't reading and cover the outside in my other hand so if anyone peeked they would not see what I was looking at!!! I swear if it ever got made into an anime I'd probably die.
