@zacc and I are so appreciative of everyone who has visited our blog! It's been such a great project for us and we love working on it every week. I wanted to make a thread where we can announce new posts and discuss the posts that are up. This is that thread! Here's the blog!

We just put up a new post about the limitations that come along with @zacc's disability. Check it out.

Love the recent posts guys. And the colors and artwork are fab!! I don't know if you're taking topic requests, but I have one. My boyfriend has just hired a night PCA because I'm an insomniac and turning him over every couple hours is very unhelpful in that regard. She hasn't started just yet but I'm kind of nervous it will be weird having someone come into our room and turn him over at night while I'm still in the bed. I got the impression you have a night aid @zacc from previous posts? If so, I'm curious what your experiences with this have been like. I plan to stop sleeping naked when the PCA is here, but beyond that I'm like do I say "hello" when she comes in in the middle of the night? Do I just roll over and pretend I'm asleep?

Ooh yeah that's a great topic! For a quick response I'm a super deep sleeper so I often sleep through the night staff coming in, but if I do wake up I just roll over and let them do their thing unless they need me for something. It definitely took me some time to get used to, but in the end I'm very glad I get to sleep through the night!

I'm very envious of your deep sleeper status cilantro ! It will be awesome if I somehow adapt and can sleep through it, but I'm not super optimistic about that, ha. I'll be happy if I can just get back to sleep faster this way, since I at least won't be getting up and doing something semi-strenuous and getting myself into full awake-time mode.

I might be taking a couple overnight shifts and I'm not looking forward to having to drag myself up in the night. We shall see.

Don't worry about your voice sounding different in recordings. I briefly flirted with the idea of becoming a professional voice actor in my late teens, and the fact that my voice sounded different than the way I heard it was one of the very first things I had to get used to. Everyone who does recording goes through that shock. But think about it this way: the people close to you know and love your voice for what it is. A recording is just a way for you to hear yourself though their ears. That voice is what they hear *all the time*.

New Blog PostThis post is especially pertinent to everyone here because it's all about being a dev! I absolutely love this post! I may even share it with a few people I’ve recently “come out” to with my devness. Thank you so much for putting your experience into a post for a general audience.

Great post, thank you, cilantro ! I want to comment on one thing: I get what you must have been going through. A friend of mine told some of his friends about how we met and that I'm a dev. We live in the same city, so it happens that I meet people from his life (mostly by chance) who know that I'm a dev. But I know absolutely nothing about them, let alone anything so intimate like their sexual attraction. I have to admit that I feel really shitty about it. Noone said anything negative until now, but I just don't feel at ease around people who know I'm a dev _and_ who can associate my face and name with it. I'm a pretty open person and I write openly about my devness on the internet, also about the more personal parts of it, I tell people (of my chosing) about it and so on. But having strangers judge you just because of this one bit of information tends to be too much for me. Not to mention that if ever devs get in a broader focus of negative attention, they have me as the shining example... Nightmare stuff.

Congratulations on your interview! And on your blog. And and on your relationship, first of all. I remember when you, cilantro, first joined PD. So the two of you are really a great example of how sometimes things can just work out perfectly well, and I am so happy for you! (And yes, I know it’s not a dating site, but still ...)
