I've met several of you weirdos. So far so good, hopefully I'll meet a few more. This forum has lead me to some wonderful friends. Same. England is small, but not that small. You think you have problems meeting PWD lizzy because you live in England? Well try living over here in NI just a stone throw away from you, trying to meet a Dev is practically impossible as its so small.

I’m definitely up for meeting pwd and devs but I’m still a pretty new member and haven’t really connected with anyone yet. I also live in western Canada. I’m not sure how many people on here from western Canada or north western USA but I like road trips and travel. A while ago I went for a vacation to Germany it was great. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of this site at the time.

I’m in Manitoba. I’d kill to live somewhere with no snow. I don’t mind the cold it’s the snow that’s a pain in the ass. Any pwd that lives where there is snow will likely tell you the same. It’s messy. If you don’t have an indoor specific chair you have to clean your tires so you don’t track salt, gravel and snow into the house. I used to love winter, snowboarding and snowmobiling especially in the bc back country. But not anymore.

I am now blessed by a beautiful 11 day long annual (average!) snowfall - i just hunker down in front of my wood stove until it rains again and cancel all plans 😅

There is one the I like to still do but only after a big snow fall. I love plowing through the snow down the streets in my truck while everyone else is afraid to leave their garage. Lol. I guess that’s the kid in me.

I live in a rural’ish town - our huge snowfall this year had the trucks out in the streets pulling kids on GT racers 😅 I’ll safely walk 10km before I get into a vehicle in a snow storm!

At least you have common sense. There’s so many people out there who don’t have any.
