Did you know that there's a big Permobil place in Lebanon, TN?
I got turned around leaving Murfreesboro a while back and "discovered" it.

I had one very similar to that but hated it. I thought it controlled funny...it wasnt as precise as I wanted. I took it back and got it replaced with something else...Invacare I think?

i actually used an Invacare chair previous to the one i use now (above)...not bad. it wasn't an electric chair, but i think Invacare makes quality products that last.

Believe it or not Trace that was one of the reasons I got this chair. Being so close I don't have to wait too long for repairs.

My main chair is an Invacare TDX5. It is a great chair, except that I have noticed some reliability issues over the years, which according to my tech is something that he sees with heavy usage.
I got a new chair, the TDX SR, last year. But I still don't have it set up to be as comfortable as my TDX5. So right now, I use it just for travel.
My spare chair is a Quickie S525. I call it an indoor chair, it lacks power. But boy, has it been solid as a rock when my TDX is in the shop. I have had zero issues with it.

The T-lytes are just badass.
I used to always have a Quikie, but they always F'n break.
I had ONE Invacare and will never have another. The first day I got it I was pumped. It was way faster than my old chair. They brought it to me and I didn't see the seatbelt.
This was back in the day when I smoked grass all day. I was rolling through these projects late at night, stoned out of my mind, was thinking, "Hell yeah, cruising in my new chair." I wasn't paying attention and hit a speed bump.
Flew out of my chair and it rolled on top of me. I laid in a pool of blood for like an hour. It took that long for someone to spot me. They called the cops and it took me another two hours explaining to them that someone didn't beat the shit out of me.
Even worse while I was laying on the ground under the chair, I saw the seatbelt buckled in the back of the chair!
Fuck Invacare.
