Just wanted to give a heads up that over the next couple of weeks, I'll be taking down my books from Amazon Kindle.
Basing my decision on recent sales or lack thereof, today, I started with "For the Love of Not Walking" and "What it Was".
Due to Amazon's rules, I won't be able to distribute my books on any other platforms for 90 days after unpublishing for Kindle. In the future, I may try to find other platforms to share my books, but I'm not sure yet. Who knows, I may start posting them on our Devotee Fiction Blog again since I've extensively reedited my books over the past year. My main purpose to self-publish was that women who are looking for these type of stories are able to find/get them, but I haven't seen much interest anymore. Not too many people want to read romance involving disabled main protagonists.
In the next couple of weeks, I'll be taking down my other books as well.
I'm just not making enough to justify taxes on my sales and doing my tax return this year showed this to me once again that "selling" is just not worth it. Since most readers are very reluctant to leave reviews or helping promote this genre (disability romance/devotee romance), it's just not worth it for me anymore. Amazon also takes the biggest junk of the sales.
To everyone who has supported me in recent years, thank you for reading. I wish I would have had some more reviews from readers because that would have also helped to spread the word. Thank you for all your support.
If you're still interested to get my remaining four books on your Kindle, please do this soon before they're not available anymore.
Hugs, Dani
