Today I was enjoying my weekly dose of shameless gossip and came across a story entitled "I get my kicks pretending to be an amputee!". Basically, this girl strapped up various parts of her bodies so it looked like she was an amputee, but she didn't do it on a daily basis. She only did it with one of her like-minded friends a few times a year. Apparently she got a 'thrill' from people wondering what had happened her. Nothing about it being a sexual thing or BIID. This girl just occasionally preferred to not use a leg or an arm. Thoughts?

She said it was painful but worth it. And Spurs, she said she liked being offered assistance as it meant she was believable. At the end of the article she said 'while this is my passion, I would never want to lose a limb for real. It just gives me a thrill'

Brings to mind Eddie Murphy in "Trading Places". He was pushin himself around on a board with wheels, begging, pullin scams, tryin to pick up chicks, etc. Two cops pick him up on each side, his legs drop down, and Eddie starts screaming 'THANK YOU JESUS...IT'S A MIRACLE!!' lol
I don't know, I think it;s a crazy kick to get pretending to be amputee. it's like they love pullin the wool over people's head...they dig trickery, or deception. Weird hobby to me!

Just think of it as Halloween...But a little fucked up ;D But to me it's no big thing as long as she's not hurting anyone. I mean I think someone who judges a devo is an absolute A$$Hole it's just arrogant and wrong cause in the long run what good does it do anyone??? U got good people feelin like they're wearing monster makeup 24/7. Then u got disabled people who could be gettin the pounding of a lifetime but don't.. because of shit-for-brain people refuse to realize that being a devo isn't a sickness, or even a fetish. It's a Preference! ....a preference that could be making alot of people. ....very...happy!It's just a preference! just like metal or jazz or taking cream in yer coffee. So I'll say it again. If yer not hurting anyone then who cares what' someone does in their spare time.... If it makes u happy, or better yet ;D if it makes someone other then yerself happy, then just do what makes yeh cooo baby! ;D
