Anybody else on the east coast dealing with snow?

The workers came by to plow, shovel, and salt last night, but I may give things 24 more hours to clear up before venturing out on the roads (I have 4WD, but still fear getting stuck). All of my Christmas shopping was done weeks ago, mailing too, so I have no real need to get out.

Anyone else?

I shoveled it, salted it and now watching my kid play in it. It's a beautiful powdery sight, but I wouldn't miss it a bit if I didn't have to see it again.

It's snowing on the east side of my country too.More is forecast during the week, so should make an eventful journey to work tomorrow at least.

It's driving me CRAZY....watching it fall constantly on TV every time I watch the news. hehe Really, i'm so damn happy I jumped on a jet and got out back in '82. It's beautiful if you can just stay in for many days, but i get cabin fever quick.

Looks like 5 inches of snow on the ground so far, with another 2-3 expected. It's powder snow so it'll clean away easily. It's no big deal. Heavy, wet snow sucks. But the cold temps suck more than snow, IMHO.

We got nailed early in October...like a foot over night...then sunny skies until the end of November....and Boom another foot over night and its been here ever since....but we just had a warm spell so its all turned into a slushy slippery hell to get anywhere without looking like a soaked mess and then a salty ashy Larry after it dries....I hate winter.

Well, barring an additional (unlikely) dump, it looks like things are clear enough (three days later) for holiday travel to my Brother's. What they get up there is a wild card, but at least the locals are equipped to handle it.
