And Ruth, what I've read I haven;t liked either, but I guess I shouldn't put my hope high when it comes to Harlequin type books (this is the first time I've read one). I do have a few questions about The Write Man For Her and Equal Opportunities, but I don't know which thread is best to address them... I also couldn't find a recent thread about books so feel free to ask your questions about those two books here. Right now many of us are reading (or re-reading) Equal Opportunities in preparation for a voice chat about it and other dev things this coming Wednesday at 8pm EST on skype. If you would like to join us send me or really any active dev here your skype ID ahead of time to we can add you to our friends list there and include you in the voice call. Oh yeah and welcome Cristabell/Amy!

I had a new thought last week. I decided to contact the authors of books who have disabled heroes and interview them! I wrote to the woman who did The Write Man for Her and she's answered some interview questions that I'll post at my website next week. I think this is a great idea Ruth! As you know I tried to contact the author of The Morning Side Of Dawn but never heard back from her. I also tried to find you before you were here and was unsuccessful so contacting the writers may be very difficult. Like Devogirl I'd love to know more about Mathilde Madden. BA just told me that she has chatted with a para from the fetish scene in the UK. Mathilde consulted with him when writing the book. I guess she is part of that scene but not a dev. He gave her his perspective on his experience with devs.

I do have a few questions about The Write Man For Her and Equal Opportunities, but I don't know which thread is best to address them... As Emma said, we will be discussing Equal Opportunities this coming Wednesday, July 20. The live skype chat will start at 8 pm US eastern time. There will also be a new thread started up that day to discuss the book here, so even if you don't want to join the live chat, there will be a space to discuss it. Since it's only a few days away, and to give anyone else a chance to finish reading, please hold off on discussing it until then. If you want to talk about any other book, go ahead and do so, either in this thread or in a new one.

Thanks for the invite and the heads up. I'm in Europe, so that's the middle of the night for me, but I'll join the discussion thread afterwards. It's basically the same thing, so I'm gonna put my questions off until the 20th.

Thanks for the info about the movie. I've never heard of it. Has anyone seen it? Is it available with English subtitles? I have the movie *Älskar, Älskar inte* as well, just no subtitles either (sorry... we can have a simultaneous showing/watching, so I can translate ). It's an old movie (1995), but that doesn't ruin the general story. I'll see if I can figure out the megaupload and get it available for those who don't mind the 'no subtitles'. And welcome Cristabell.

Sverige... I´m interested too!! LOL... for internationals, the title was "Against the odds" and the translation: "Love me, love me not" I couldn´t find a copy yet... it´s way too difficult! But, if you can share the movie, it would be a great thing!

Think I figured it out and uploaded the movie. Please give it a try and let me know if it works. There's some more european dev-movies in my 'library', so I'll start digging . www.megaupload.com/?d=YE2348C0

Oh, I don't think I know "worth the ride" I'll look for that!
Cristabell, for your questions on Write Man for Her, my interview is going up on my website in a few minutes, you could ask in the comments and the author herself might answer! I assume she'll go take a look when I put it up.
I also have a thing for the dark, brooding, emotionally stunted heroes! lol. Devogirl will tell you. Definitely when I wrote (W)hole, Stewart was my ideal guy. I was so drawn to that, both in fiction and real life. Now I've grown up a lot and I'm much more interested in nice, open, honest and sweet guys! I'll always love Stewart, though, he is terribly special to me.
I'm really looking forward to the discussion of Equal Opportunities because I think learning more will make me less afraid to read it. I tend to be the opposite of most people and the more "spoilers" of something I hear, the more likely I am to read or watch it. Hearing what happens makes me confident that it won't disappoint me and curious to see how the author handled the things people describe.

Lol... Ruth do you also sometimes flip over and read the last page?
In fiction, if it doesn't have a happy ending, usually, I won't mess with it. ;D

I can't help thinking how distressed it would make me to know someone was flipping to the last page of my book, after all the careful work I put into building it just so. I never thought about how the spoilers thing is related to that! Maybe I should start flipping to the end before I read.

I only do that if it the book jacket makes it sound like they might not get together... so I don't do it a lot. If I remember correctly, your (W)hole would've been fine. I'd have read it anyway... if only because of the subject matter.

Is there any risk downloading on Megaupload? Is it free? Must I create an account?
