Erotic story written by a disabled man

I recently got in touch with a fellow on the Kindle Boards (a place for Kindle authors to get together and talk shop), who just came out with his first erotica story. I haven't read it yet, but I'm definitely going to! He is a wheelchair user himself and plans to write several short stories on this theme.

It's 99 cents and here's the description:

"Jeff is a disabled man and as such he knows it's bad form to get hard in front of a caregiver. The problem is that Nurse Tiffany is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. What will happen when it's time for a sponge bath? Some fantasies DO go beyond your wildest dreams!

This 5,300-word (about 22 pages) erotic short story blends tenderness and the kind of hardcore imagery which leaves NOTHING to the imagination.

Interesting I was just looking at that short story this morning on amazon. I tend to routinely attempt to find new material.

However, I didn't buy it because for some reason, I thought it would be more of a short story of an old man trying to get it on with his hot young nurse... The description and cover didn't help abate those thoughts. But now I think I'll give it a try.

Oh, that's funny! He wrote to me based on something else completely and then he looked at my books and said "Wait a minute, I've never heard of this dev thing." So then he told me he had several of these stories that he was thinking about publishing, I told him to go for it!

It will probably be a few days before I get to read it, I have quite a list built up of things I've promised to read, but I hope you enjoy and let us know how it is.

Ruth, I am confused. The short story is written by Cheri Verset and that is a woman, so who is the he, you got in contact with?

I read the sample of the story, and thought it was written from a female devotee perspective.

So unless it´s a transgendered person ...

Turns out, he decided to use a female pen name. I didn't realize that when I was first talking to him! I guess I shouldn't have blown his cover. Well, I didn't give his name, anyway. He typically writes sci-fi.

I asked why he decided to use a woman's name and he said he was intending to attract male readers, which he thought would be more interested in reading a sexy story written by a woman.

Okay, I've read it now. I liked it, though it was a bit more graphic than what I usually go for. I advised him on tweaking the writing to appeal to a dev audience. I told him for the next story to put more in about how Jeff moves, about transferring, about the details of exactly how he takes up space. The story definitely needed more of that.
