I have FSH muscular dystrophy and went into a wheelchair about 10 years back after recognizing that it would in fact be "liberating" rather than confining -- and it has been, which is important for a nature-lover and independent day-tripper like myself.
I love my job (Legal Director for civil rights organization). I love my hobbies (including as singer/writer for comedy rock band with musicians from Meatloaf and Blood Sweat & Tears). I have great friends and a nice life. And am now looking for someone to have a great connection with, enjoy museums and concerts with, hike through the woods with, snuggle in bed on cold mornings with, happen upon interesting happenings with, hold late-night conversations with, smile with, be passionate with, frolic with. I'm usually attracted to women who are intelligent, down-to-earth, and with a youthful sense of curiosity and being. Then again: "Into prince, princess, swan or gold, A fairytale always comes unsuspected; As two misshapen puzzle pieces Create their portrait once connected."
