Hi! I’m an overenthusiastic new member!
I believe it was a little over a year and a half ago when I came across this site(it was around New Years... perhaps even on it). I had found my first bit of historical fiction that had a blind character in it(unrealistic but I loved it anyway) on one of the reading lists here and made an account immediately. After finding out I was too young to be part of the boards, I believe I made a post... Or perhaps I just kept it to the PMs, but ever since then I’ve creeped on the forums, giggled at all the antics and yearned to hit 18 and join in on the fun. I’ve talked to some of the wiser members before about my experience with devoteeism and I hope I can make some more friends here.
I am part of Celeste’s Devoteen and she has done wonderful work with the site. I am not the most consistent member but it’s nice to have that dev community and even knowing about the Paradevo board was support enough.
I live in NYC, born and raised here. I just graduated from high school, super excited for college *throws confetti*. No, but actually I am very excited for college. I’m excited for many reasons, one of them being that I’m taking a gap year before I go haha.
I’m going to be traveling a bit, trying to avoid wasting money and time in uni by switching my major too much. I am not sure what I want to study yet, I am interested in OT, adaptive technology/rehabilitation engineering, accessible design, art, dance, writing, graphic design... and other things. The list goes on.
I love stories, and learning about people... And I hope I can make you laugh.
My devness is something that I don't feel guilty about... It just is a part of who I am, but I don't know how to put it into words so... I just don't want to start saying things that may give the wrong idea and... I mean I’m open to any and all questions... So, yeah. I don’t know what else I should say. Yay... That is all. Good day lovely people! *waves*
