Hi everyone found this site a while ago thought its time I said hello . I am 49 year old guy living in Australia with a single below the knee amputation. Would like to make a female friend and see what happens. I am defiantly not judgemental about the dev thing as long as people respect one another I can’t see a problem. I am up for a range of activities from going out dancing, drives in the country or just chatting on line I would love to hear from anyone who is looking to connect.

Firstly thank you all for the warm welcome.
Yes Valkyrja there is something behind the nickname. A while ago I did something risky to escape a pretty bad situation that I had been in for a long time. I kind of thought it was similar to when Papillion jumped off the cliff in the hope he would make it back to the mainland so I adopted the moniker. I haven’t read the book but it was a great film.
It’s also a metaphor for transformation like from chrysalis to butterfly.

Thank you for bringing it up alexa2010. Not being a good speller I googled the term when i decided to use it. I just slipped the extra i in without noticing. A testement to my lack of attention to detail.
