#30: If she sends you into an episode of autonomic dysreflexia it'll totally be worth it! Yes it would be worth it.

7.- You will be always the hottest guy on earth, no matter if Brad Pitt (or whoever) is standing next to you. What happens when it’s another PWD next to you?!

I’m interested to read this thread. I’ve dated a bunch of non-dev identifying women who were like kind and empathetic and also open to finding mutually satisfying ways of having sex. I’ve pretty much never Encountered a sexual partner who didn’t want to do anything possible to make me cum, though obviously some people understand more about the whole “will he get hard tonight” shit. I’ve never felt like a partner was embarrassed or ashamed of my disability but I also have never felt like a partner was turned on by specific things like my atrophied legs. In fact, I’ve had girlfriends who talk about how sexy some dudes huge quads are, which obviously left me feeling a bit jealous but not in a bad way; she gets jealous when I casually talk or flirt with other women. But isn’t that hot? Don’t we all feel some jealousy and protection over our sig. others?
I don’t mean to deny anyone’s feelings about these topics I guess I just haven’t experienced the same things/ or have the same opinions about what dating can be for disabled people.
Super interesting to read and would value anyone’s thoughts or perspective!

I'm new, so I just stumbled across this list. Reading through it makes me realize that this is a great place to be! This is such a fun thread! It's very rare for PWDs to get the chance to flirt, or even, talk about sex in an exciting and fulfilling way. It feels good to feel desirable.
Whatever number we are on: "You will always have someone, who won't mind--that's an old way of thinking--I should say: someone who can't wait to hold you at night, when it's cold and dark, and you are scared and alone. And they won't mind letting you be the small, or the big spoon, depending on what the situation requires"

13) S/he will already be aware of all the cliches and misconceptions about PWD and totally rejected them.

She would possibly take pleasure in explaining and describing the things around us - it wouldn't be a 'chore' or a 'duty' for her
