Ten hours!! that's quite a route, do you have to up your liquid intake to prevent dehydration?? and do you use like sports juices?

That's a good catch. Yes, you have to be very careful about dehydration. and over heating too. I did a lot of research into sustained riding. You need to eat, drink, and stay cool, on an all day event. I use a CamelBak with non-sweetened electrolyte tablets and water. I tried sports drinks, but even they will get too sweet, after a while. Also, cleaning the sugar from your CamelBak is a mess. It takes a while to master, but you have to continuously sip and nibble all day. If you wait until you are thirsty, you have waited too long. This leads to cramps and over-heating.
