I messed up a week or so ago, barging into a thread. Not the most computer savvy. So here goes again. Been peering into your lives here for a bit and seem like a nice, crazy bunch. Did not know til about January when I read a story of Ruth Madison's and found this site, that there was a name for this feeling I have had for all my life. Have told no one before, and was married to an able bodied guy for 32 yrs. Yea, I'm ancient compared to some of you. Have completely started my life over here on the beach of west coast, US and have to say this seems like a fun group to add to my new life. Thanks for the allowed peering.

Welcome Blueskye, from another ancient west-coaster. Perhaps "ancient" is a stretch, but when I was a kid we didn't understand about the fine art of social acceptance and would frequently tease the dinosaurs. The pterodactyls in particular were sensitive, but the brontosaurus didn't mind the teasing.

Welcome to the board, Bluesky! There is no such thing as being ancient -- there is just wisdom beyond doubt

Welcome, Blueskye101! Welcome Blueskye, from another ancient west-coaster. Perhaps "ancient" is a stretch, but when I was a kid we didn't understand about the fine art of social acceptance and would frequently tease the dinosaurs. Inigo,
Do you suppose the pterodactyl is that way because of all the teasing?

Perhaps... if so, you have a lot to answer for, Mike. A lot to answer for. tsk tsk
