At this point there are three guys I would pick out: Stanley Tucci, the younger Daniel Day Lewis and Robert Downey. But I know my taste has changed or I maybe have become more honest with myself. In the past I would have picked guys that that are more mainline like the Pitts and Clooneys of this world. In terms of AB vs PWD I don't think an AB has to be physically more attractive to catch my attention in terms of romantic interest, since the physical aspect is only one of many facets that play a role.

I'm curious for those of you who participated in the game where do you stand on the disabled guys vs AB guys? I guess I'm asking specifically about how the disabled guys you find attractive compare to the AB guys you find attractive. I know some of you have already answered this question but I noticed many of you didn't. Attractive is attractive. They still have to have the right face/upper body and obviously take care (groomed facial hair, exercise and fit, nice hair, well dressed etc....), it's all part of the package. Basically as far as LOOKS only are concerned I still find the same things attractive in AB men and disabled, of course if they are the "type" of disabled (I like para, leg amputee, and blindness push my dev buttons). and that ups the hotness level even more. Make sense?

I wonder if I should claim exemption from choosing as only about a third of them are actually older than me. I'd say Goldblum is the most attractive, but it wasn't a very inspiring set for me. Think it's voices/accents that do it most - so I would have agreed on Patrick Stewart until I saw him buying a Thin and Crispy pizza in my nearest store. Not because of a pizza aversion but because he looked so insubstantial compared to the way he sounds. Would have to add Sean Bean and a few years ago Anthony Hopkins. Also, in fantasy land, would add lots of thick dark or greying hair. Don't think I've ever related to traditional beauty too much - maybe that was down to the dev factor.

Emma, trying to answer your question, if I think a guy is attractive it doesn't matter if he is DA or AB, there are guys in wheelchairs who I just don't find attractive even if the rest of my dev interest is right as in the disability. Would I still stalk him and hunt him down, maybe a little....LOL...just because I want to see all the stuff that gets me going, the way he moves and all that good stuff, so maybe I wouldn't be so picky as to how he looks, I don't know....I see lots of AB guys I think are hot and I am fine with that, but of course in my head I would probably put them in a wheelchair here or there... but it is not a necessity. If they are hot I am also o.k. with them being AB just as I may spot a wheelchair and then see the guy in it and think more like "Meh'"...not bad but not super hot and I don't spend too much time thinking about it. I guess it comes down to I find some guys hot and some not so much, doesn't matter if there is a chair or not. I do find many different men sexy and even though I have a basic fantasy I am open to all...many different factors play into it if I find a man attractive. I feel like I am rambling on, sorry, it's bedtime for me and I already took a sleeping aid... I'm curious for those of you who participated in the game where do you stand on the disabled guys vs AB guys? I guess I'm asking specifically about how the disabled guys you find attractive compare to the AB guys you find attractive. I know some of you have already answered this question but I noticed many of you didn't.

Oh, and I just looked over all the pics and I have to say the only one who actually made me think like, "He is kind of cute, I would hang out with him" was that Simon Pegg guy who I don't even know....LOL I used to think Brad Pitt was hot but not so much anymore...

Make sense? Agreed! Attractive is attractive be it AB or DA. I appreciate qualities I find attractive in any man. Definitely wheels catch my eye but the guy in it has to be just as eye-catching and be attractive in more ways than just being in a chair. I'd rather be single than settle for someone who doesn't hit my attraction buttons.

I agree with the girls about being "bi"... I love both, AB and Wheelers. It is not in the article order but this is my "top ten":
1.- Viggo Mortensen 2.- Pierce Brosnan (Sorry Ink, he is damn hot for me too) 3.- Hugh Jackman (though he is my age) 4.- Javier Bardem 5.- Ralph Fiennes 6.- Daniel Day Lewis 7.- George Clooney 8.- Ken Watanabe 9.- Robert Downey Jr. 10.- John Stamos
And I agree with Tori: Jim Caviezel; Joe "Damn hot body" Manganello; Sam Elliott (but with mustache... the only man I like with a mustache and yeah, that voice!)
And obviously, there are tons of other men I would include in the list!

I'm definitely bi, I think (which is good for my AB hubby). I think I just love any man, period, who is charismatic and virile.
Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem are the only ones from the list that do it for me. Also, Jeff Goldblum to a certain extent. I never thought he was hot when he was younger (quite unattractive, really), but he's gotten better with age. Most of the others, conversely, I thought were hot when they were younger but don't do it for me now. I know that's ageist, but I've earned the right, since I'm in my forties. I guess I'm a cougar because I can name several younger actors I think are smokin' hot!

Being a 90's kid I've always been in love with John Stamos.

Although these men are handsome, maybe even hot, none of theme do anything for me in any sort of sexual way. I mean, George Clooney is VERY nice to look at and Brad Pitt is like eye candy, but none of them give me the amazing feeling I get from a wheeler. There is that twinge between the legs that is just automatic with many wheelers (not all) that NEVER happens for me with a non-disabled guy.
I can admire a good looking guy, I can enjoy watching him or even try to imagine what it would like to be with them but it's like a lukewarm, quick shower when I really want a long, hot bath.
My choices: 28, 22, 13 and 4

I totally agree with Faith. As a teenage girl, then a single women and now a long-time married one ( to an AB) I had crushes on male celebrities and still does. However, none of them makes me fantasize like a wheeler does. For me they have this thing, on top of the wheelchair or crutches that ABs are missing. I've read a very interesting article about handiphilia ( European term for devness!) which states among other psychological explanations that we are attracted to wheelers because they have something extra and not something less that ABs don't have. I guess it is my case.
My vote: 5,6,7,15,20,25. Those men in wheelchair OMG! I can dream huh?

Resurrecting the thread here--but I only find Daniel Dae Kim, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney attractive on that list. Well maybe also Jeff Goldblum...because c'mon, who doesn't love Jeff Goldblum!
