i've had a lot of different questions/comments made about me/my disability. mostly by little kids who are just curios cause theyve never seen anything like my condition. I always chuckle at the parents who rush their kids away, as if asking quetions would offend me... Then there are the adults that ask, and whats funny is the adults have less tact then the children would. I guess i take words more leniently from kids as they are more innocent... newer to the world... some tactless questions i've had from different adults: "What the hell is wrong with you " was a funny one. I still explained my condition, but was chuckling at this persons stupiditity afterwards. Another one that was when i was little younger so it was more upsetting was : "Why aren't you institutionalized" and then the guy starts talking that I am a burden on my family , btw i had never met the guy. He was a friend of my cousin. My cousin being the good guy that he is kicked the guy out. Some questions i've had from kids have been a little more humerous. One in paticular was when a child compared me to a giraffe. I assume the comparision had to do with giraffes having 4 legs , and two crutches act as to extra legs for me lol

Lol, so many reactions! Everything from "they let you out of the house then?" to "Oh my God, I'm so inspired!" It just blows peoples' socks off for some reason that I'm a blind guy who leaves the house, has a job and actually...does stuff.

... as a leg amputee, being asked "Do you like flamingos?" One day, you should reply "Yes, I dress up as one each weekend to pull birds!" Well, stupid questions get stupid answers. I remember being warned by the Police on a night out because they thought I'd had too much to drink. I was actually the soberest one in the group of us! C.P and Alcohol don't really mix though anyway, just a warning.

"Slow down, there's a speed limit here!"
"Someday, [if you pray hard enough] you'll walk with Jesus..."
...You figure it out when they're innocent, and when they're just stupid.

I don't know which one of you guys to tag! Are you all serious? Between drunk and giraffes and flamingos ..I don't even know where to start. Are people really that dumb?? Some of them! But then again, I've been called a giraffe, and been known to refer to myself as such on occasion, because of my long legs and height - I can look a newborn giraffe straight in the eye lol. So I guess it's all a matter of perspective. As we all are aware, ignorance abounds....

I lost count of how many times I've been called a "Gift from God". All from people I've never met. I will say there was a nice one once. A woman used me as an inspiration to lose 100 pounds and enter a marathon. That one was cool.

"you're such an inspiration" "If Anthony can do it with a smile, then I can" "You're so funny!!!" "God has a reason for everything" "Can you have sex?" "What's that in your neck for'"
You know what I am? I'm a disabled guy who didn't choose this lifestyle nor ask for it, but it is what it is and I try making the most out of it. If that's inspirational, then kudos

Are people really that dumb?? Yes. What he said I actually had a dream last night that my ex broke things off with me for others because "I'll never be able to help you walk" WTF. Thank Ghandi for dreams, nightmares, whatever
