I was doing all sorts of research for a new manual chair, and it hit me that I can go right to the experts. I'm looking for a trustworthy manual chair, something that can easily be thrown into vehicles, be reliable, and I can get a few good years out of. I used to have a Quickie, loved the damn thing, I just haven't had recent experience with them. This little beauty caught my eye, but I will admit I am sure there's things I'm overlooking. Please feel free to give me some criticism. www.tilite.com/chairs_tx.phpI'm also looking at this riomobility.com/en/leverdrive/pivot-features.htmlAlso a buddy of mine told me his ass has never felt better since he started using Roho seats, anyone else use them? Thanks guys.

I used to always use folding frame chairs for ease of throwing in the car. When I stuffed my shoulders I bought a tilite zra, it is brilliantly light being titanium, and easy to throw on the front seat, but not as easy to Ow in and retrieve he backseat as a folding frame chair.
I wouldn't use anything else other than a roho

Roho is the way to go! They offer hybrids with the air chambers and some foam, well it gave me a pressure sore, never again, strictly air from now on

Which foot plate do you need / prefer I can use any. My right leg tends to drift off to the side, I was thinking a tighter space may fix that.

Maybe a bit of OBJECTIVE research might help illuminate the situation and make the choice a little more.... empirical. Hope this helps... warning... you might have to do some reading.. I think a fixed plate looks better and leaves more room for turning and things but not many that fold ,I got a quickie revolution with morph wheels for traveling or if need to fit a chair in car with loads of other stuff

1) look into a RIGID frame chair. 100% of the time they are better built and sturdier than a folding chair. It's night and day.
2) look into the "ride forward" cushion, the ones that are made of gel -- they are much better than Roho. Also, dont get AIR -- its just too much maintenance.
3) a tigher space will fix the swing of your feet and keep them in place, so thats a good idea,.
