Wellllllllp. I guess I fail. I've seen all those bands and like them... Maybe you, do maybe don't? When I started going to shows people weren't so worried about the exact genre. My little brother reminds me of this everyday. Lolol! I miss 2006 SO much.

I'm not a giant fan of the hardcore metal these days, but ill list a few harder bands I've always found interesting...
Alice in Chains Rage Against the Machine Black Sabbath Led Zeppelin - btw, Robert Plant recorded vocal tracks for the album 'Presence" from a wheelchair. Savatage/Jon Oliva's Pain Genitorturers
(The last two from here in Florida)

I Heard of this band but never looked in to it. What ever country it is, I heard that metal is mainstream there much like rap, hip hop, pop is in the USA. Which I just can't imagine.

Japanese heavy-metal is the best on earth That little wink is adorable. The whole thing was adorable. And I'd never thought I'd say that about something metal or Hard Rock related. Well, apart from if it was Amy Lee of Evanescence. Ah, those were the days, considering yourself cool for knowing two of their songs, but they were cool because they wern't rap, which seemed to dominate my 10 year-old life back then. Since you're asking for music recommendations, and I'm currently obsessed with the works of Harry Nilsson, the ideal way to end this post would be to tune you into his great repertoire beyond 'Without You', 'One' or 'Coconut'. But since he isn't Rock per-se, I have nothing to go on. Ah, fuck it here's some Vaudeville from his early years, just scream along. In my defence it is quite rocky, so it fits the bill.

Just gonna pop The Dickies in here, just because I love this song and the film it featured in.
Not too familiar with their other stuff. But, I'll be sure to check them out.
I'm not a big metal fan despite being someone who encourages a multi-genre lifestyle when it comes to music, so it's nice to see what's on offer.
That said, I love Blind Guardian's output that I've heard. For a metal group, their more my style, a bit flighty, a bit theatrical.
