The videos for explosively energetic 80's new wave usually do the music a disservice. Listen at maximum volume, sing along; consumption of visual component not recommended. Being born in '78, I was just a little bit young to really enjoy the 80's new wave/pop scene. I LOVE it now though. Howard Jones is playing an acoustic set this Saturday, very close to where I live!

I don't remember if I've posted this one before, but I don't mind - it's a good one and for a change, not made by edgelords! Happy Caturday everyone.

The whole "Any Man in America" album by Blue October is one of my favorite ones ever. Any one here who's into Blue October?

The amount of times I've listened to this track and I've only just noticed that Freddie makes a mistake and sings 'Tuesday' in place of 'Thursday'.
Makes it all the better to be honest. Freddie Mercury could have as many Tuesdays in his weeks as he wanted. Well, up to seven.

Currently listening to the reissue of Suede's first album. It's going down well with a bottle of red.

Kinda late on this, but RIP to Ranking Roger I'm surprised that it wasn't his heart that gave out. It had to have been broken so many damn times--I mean, just imagine being that talented on stage, and still not be able to prevent white people from clapping on 1 and 3...

One of Birmingham's finest exports for sure. A fine talent.
