Sir Paul , have you watched Travelers? I believe it didn't start as a Netflix original but they picked it up at the 3rd season. It is SO good. laur can back me up on that lol I've watched about half of the first season, but I haven't quite connected to it yet. It's one I watch when I need a sci-fi time travel fix and I can't find anything else. I haven't given up on it though. Sometimes it just takes me a while to get into shows. I didn't like Breaking Bad at first and gave up on it after a handful of episodes - then a year or so later tried again and it became one of my all-time favorites. Tek mentioned 12 Monkeys, which I recently discovered and binged the hell out of! GREAT show! 12 monkeys is awesome. I watched the first 2 seasons of travelers but really couldn't get into the 3rd season. Timeless also withered away a bit, however I did watch it until the end. Today I watched the first episode of 'Roswell New Mexico' it has potential, I haven't seen a good alien tv show since Alf, and Mork and Mindy. Nanoo Nanoo, haha

Have you heard of Counterpart? It's pretty slow, but J.K. Simmons makes it awesome.

I downloaded the first season of expanse this morning, someone recommended it a few pages ago. I will have a look at counterpart as well. Thanks for the suggestion

Let’s get everyone to watch it and love it like we do, newjess. 😊 It’s so good, you all. It’s got some serious Fringe vibes too, which I also loved, so if you like that, give it a try! Also, editing to add that I also am SO pumped for GoT. I can’t believe it’s finally a couple of months away. Is it April 14th yet?!

Was watching random YouTube documentaries about mental hospitals and came across this. There's this disturbing segment that I can't stop thinking about. They give this woman some sort of shock treatment through a hole they drilled into her head, and she's conscious and frightened throughout the procedure. Nightmarish stuff. She felt she was coerced into the situation and is now an activist against this sort of thing happening.

The Dragonball Super Broly movie... I mean, I will be watching it Thursday (I may have seen an awful cam-rip with English subs already) I actually think the show had a big bearing on my determination to overcome stuff as a kid.

Does anyone have any recommendations for films with disabled characters marketed at children (particularly in animation, think like Finding Nemo)? I’m still debating on if I want to keep focusing on children’s lit/film or change to adult-oriented content for my PhD area of focus.

In Goldie and Bear, Goldie's mom uses a wheelchair.

The last film I watched was George Romero's Day Of The Dead. I wasn't too impressed.
The film I love the most is The Shape of Water. The soundtrack, the way it's shot. It's perfect.

I loved it. The anime was spectacular, and the crowd was diverse.

I've not touched DB in years. Fond memories, but nothing's drawing me back to it.
Been catching up with Doctor Who though. I like Whittaker, but the lack of classic villains, underplayed newer villains and a few missed oppurtunities mean it wasn't a great opening season.
However, it was still strong enough for me to anticipate next year's with glee.
Hopefully it'll give Yaz and Ryan more to do.
