Does anyone else do this? And what are people’s strategies to feel attractive? What's really helped me with my confidence is defining/refining my personal style. I think I've mentioned it, but I used to be a costume designer, so I've spent a lot of time thinking about the way pieces of clothing can change the way a person feels and help them shape how they are seen by others. I think people with great personal style are so attractive and I personally spend way too much time updating my wardrobe. I'm blessed by the thrift stores and consignment stores of NYC so I buy the majority of my clothing second hand (because it's fun and also for ethical and environmental reasons, but gosh I wish we could make thrifting more accessible... maybe websites like poshmark are helping??) and so when I wear a piece I know it's unique and has a great story behind it. I def never work out or wear makeup or do truly anything else to ~**beautify**~ (I'm very lazy), so it feels good to put on a chic unique lewk

My G-d. I just realized "piece" and "article" mean the same thing in two different contexts.
