I definitely vote “to be on PD!” Im glad you’ve joined us, you’ve already sparked some great conversation. Thank you @tc123 , the vote feels good, especially coming from you, one of my idols here. She's one of my idols, too. 🙌

missparkle ... Love the tread, but I have to say it... You're a poet!!! Naaaaaa... Far from that... Once, when I was young and foolish, I had my moments, though... LOL Blemish may be for the best, You can have some needed rest. All the things we have to share, Only wish if I was there. Just in case if you were sad, I'd jump right into your bed. With a kiss straight from my lip, Lied down onto your hurt hip, Although knowing you'd not feel, I'm sure I would help it heal.

missparkle Thanks for clarifying. I think you will find that for many devs it is actually not only a physical thing at all but goes a lot deeper than just physical attraction. It is a misconception that it is mostly physical. I am also not only physically attracted to the guys with my preferred disability. It is a lot more psychological for me. The physical features and the hardware as for example the wheelchair are important but the psyche is just as important. I am sure there are other devs for whom devness goes a lot deeper than only physical. I can't speak for the guys but lots of men are a lot more visual than women and they may first see the object of their desire physically before they deal with the psychological side. Yes, you've understood me well now, this is the aspect I was referring to. And yes, I am aware of the fact that many devs probably feel similar. But I was trying to say that most things that you can find, read about, that are said on forums, here and there, mainly address physical side of attraction. I would love to explore more psychological side of it, because, when it comes to me, it is the part that bothers me more. If it would be only primal, raw, sexual attraction on what I see, I would cope with that easily. But it is not. I am very attracted to the changes that disability makes on "inner being" of the person. Without idealizing, glorifying or making saint of anyone gone trough the "torture", one thing we all have to admit, disability yes, changes person's perception and attitude about life, itself and the world surrounding. And even if we agree that it is ok to be attracted to one's "body scars" is ot ok to be attracted to the "scars on soul"?I definitely understand what you are saying now. I love your expression about how much easier it would be if it would just be raw, sexual attraction. I totally get that and that is why I can't consider my devness a fetish because it is NOT a raw, sexual attraction, it is a lot deeper rooted. At the same time you should not torture yourself about the attraction, but that is why you are here now with like minded people who understand. Thanks for joining us here on PD. My native language is not English either so sometimes I have problems expressing myself well with words too. Or at least I can't use very complicated words as much as I would like.
