OMG we got a callout in Savage Love this week: It was nice of Dan to go to Andrew Gurza for comments, and nice that Andrew remembered this time (unlike on the podcast) that he knows a dev, and said good things about us. So why did Dan include the negative comments from the other dude? But overall not a bad intro to devs for the general population.
Will we get an influx of new members like after the BBC documentary?

I know, this annoyed me. I didn’t see the need to showcase a contrary opinion when the guy whose letter he was replying to was *clearly open to and actively looking for devotees*. It was an opportunity for a purely dev-positive response which would have been super exciting to see for once. Anyway, definitely more positive than the vast majority of the press we get! So that’s a win. 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing this.

This is a nice write up and I am glad it put devs in a somewhat positive light. But of course the part about the "bad devs" always hurts and stings in my heart a little. At the same time I think about how many times I have had interactions with "bad disabled" guys who mostly were fakers and would get really nasty. So it's really the same for the devs, we can get stalked or objectified in a different way as well and it's not a very good experience, it can actually be very traumatizing.

Now all we need is a Wikipedia entry. Anyone want to create one?

Now all we need is a Wikipedia entry. Anyone want to create one? Seriously, someone please create one! And we also need someone to rewrite the Wikipedia entry on devotees. Unfortunately it seems like one or a few people have monopolized that entry and won't allow changes, which is really a problem because it's so inaccurate and misleading.
