Hello everyone in Paradevo! My name is Mingjun Zhu and I am a 28 year old C1 quadriplegic living in Shandong, China. It has been almost 8 years since my accident. Before my accident, I was a frontline firefighter and I was injured on the job. I came to this website to meet new friends. Currently I am learning English, and I can handle simple exchanges. Usually I like to watch movies, listen to music, and even more to write articles. I like to record my life and feelings these past few years since my injury. At the beginning, the frustration was unbearable, but now I can face it calmly. I think I have grown a lot since then, and I have a stronger heart to face the future. No matter what happens in the future I will be strong. I hope to be good friends with everyone here. Thank you  |

I used to go to the fire to save people and save many car accidents. I thought I could do anything. But an accident caused me to fall high paraplegia, I was very desperate, even strongly want to give up, leave the world. Now it has been more than seven years. I have slowly accepted the fact that I am disabled. Although I can't move, I have known many disabled friends like me over the years. Everyone's life is not easy. As a soldier, I should not give up. So I gradually adapt to the present life, the past has passed, I should live a better life as a disabled person. Thank you to every friend. Work together I used to be very strong  |
