Where is the bottom pic? Nice lights but dang that looks cold.......... That picture was from our one and only night that we were able to shuffle around Aspen for a few minutes. Andy got tired of being shut inside the hotel room for days at a time, so we decided to venture out and try to find some place to eat. So for 20 minutes we walked around in the freezing ass cold trying to find an accessible restaurant, but that was a failed mission. I guess Aspen assumes that since it's catering to the ski community, none of those skiers could possibly be disabled as well.

it's just that which makes me wonder about the whole rah-rah of disabled skiing(other than snapping one's femur like a matchstick): what do you do off the slopes? i've been to aspen and other ski places when i was a crutchwalker-in summer not in winter-and none of it looked to inviting for a wheeler. lots of steps and hills. add a nice layer of slick ice and a stiff, cold wind... no, i'm not seeing how that'd be much fun(altho the downhill skiing itsself does look fun.) ' Two of the big resorts in north Lake Tahoe have redone their whole ground level to include a bunch of new condos, restaurants and shops, sort of like a mini-downtown. The downtown of the nearby city--Truckee--still has all sorts of accessibility issues in both winter and summer.

Your pics are plenty awesome - and it's good to see you're prepared with at least one 'Zombie Plan', they'll never expect a harsh beating with a tripod.

It's awesome to see you both so happy. (A friend recently told me that too cute for words is too effusive, or I would consign you to kittenland with Windy and Noi. )

Sorry, Windy... it was the most sickenly cute thing I could think of (you know, the standard... awww kittens!)... would you prefer unicornland or butterflyland? Maybe bunnyland? I googled cute scale but couldn't bring myself to click on any of the links... I think because the first one had the words "cutest little wub" in it. Which kinda makes those shiver things go up the back of my neck.
What have cats ever done to you? I like 'em. I prefer the mean ones.
I don't... General Tso's Chicken... there goes the shivers again... gah.
Hey, just out of curiosity... how many off topic posts does it take before a thread is officially hijacked?

Cats do nothing for you, that's the problem........... How can you say that? Anyone who's ever had a cat for any length of time knows that they bring you little gifties to prove their appreciation and affection. You know, for doing the job for which you were chosen.

i seem to recall an earler pic of this one with...ah, pink claw sheaths, i believe. that's a bit much. Indeed, they were claw sheaths. They actually had a function, though, in that they kept her from clawing the furniture. So they weren't purely for aesthetic reasons, which I agree would be a bit much. She doesn't wear them anymore. *Picture Deleted*
