Listen, bottom line... I think the devs should make a calender and so should the boys. Ladies, you set the bar. We'll only go as far as you guys do. That's a pretty good offer. And if you decline, I'm going on strike. What did you expect? I live in Toronto (Garbage strike AND VIA Rail strike in the last month alone)Somehow I dont think both calenders are going to reach the bottom line..

Yeahhhhhh, that's what I dig...people in life!! The odd camera angles make it more interesting, but doesn't take away from the subject matter, which is real people not posing. I see so many REALLY odd peeps around this place, and soooo many times I wish i had good enough hands to grab a camera and snap picks. I find people interesting, bizarre, a lot of times. Looking at photos makes you THINK!! The pic of the little girl reminds me of the U2 album cover of "War"...just an angry boy's face!! It resonated with me, and I stared at it for a long time. My grandfather was a photographer/musician, and my dad was musician/painter...i think there's a frustrated photographer inside of me, so I'll vicariously snap pics through you, if you don't mind. lol

the greens in the background are amazing. and it's almost like there's a glow on his face, the profile. the shirt is kinda dark, tho. and the car on the right doesnt fit. i'd crop it midway between his elbow and the bumper. shame to lose those cypresses, tho'. and it may make it a non-golden rectangle. but if so, cropping a bit off the left should restore it.

Yeah, the car totally ruined it, but I'd hate to crop it just because of the confined, boxy look it would give the picture. Also, I know it's not super awesome deluxe (painfully aware, in fact); it was the very first time I've ever used Andy's big daddy camera, and I was being made to mess around with settings and adjustments as much as possible during a photowalk we did in Melrose. I'm crap with his camera at the moment, but I'll get it eventually. I just thought the picture was very Paradevo relevant

well...the car would be OK except for the color. the red SHOULD complement all that green, but for some reason it doesnt. would it be possible to change it's color to a bright crimson? that would complement the green AND strike a neighboring color thing w/the orange car in the distance. that orange car is a great element-complementing the blue andy is wearing and adding interest downrange.

Huh. My first reaction on seeing a pic of a hot wheeler is not to pick the photograph apart technically! Please by all means Chan keep experimenting with Andy's camera.

yes, of course...snaps are great.
but i think chan DOES in fact intend to create art, rather than mundane documentation.
